Pokemon X/Y

Just beat someone who used three Ubers (Mewtwo, Xerneas, and Mega Blaziken) with my six-badge team of no-Ubers. Despite makin' a bad prediction in the beginnin' and losin' my Staraptor. Felt good. Uber users on Wi-Fi can eat a ****in' Slugma.

Send me some EXP and Money O-powers, if you would, guys.

That's some spicy escargot CK (/corniness)

Quick Balls. They're the Beedrills knees. Like, 6 new Pokemon caught one after the other.

I hope this "Spooky House" holds as much ghost types as it's name forces me to assume.

You won't be disappointed, let me tell ya. It's also actually quite scary... 'least, for a Pokemon game it is.

Trashed another Uber user. ♪ Can't wait 'til I have my own pocket Ubers instead'a Delphox 'n Pangoro to 4-0 these losers. Only lost once to someone who used the Y legendary (still can't recall the spellin' off the top'a my head) and Mewtwo... the former bein' the only reason I lost, since one'a it's signature moves can't be Protected. ¬_¬

Regardless, my impromptu Doubles team is actually... uh, surprisingly effective. Sylveon and Aegislash complement each other's typing well. Protect and King's Shield allows for toxistall in Doubles (lol), which is actually what allowed me t' beat one of two Xerneas-Mewtwo users, lettin' Xerneas die slow 'n painful. Staraptor and Mega Lucario literally just tear everything apart in a blitzkrieg of terror. I can also go from lowering your team's Attack and rippin' 'em apart on one turn via Staraptor's Intimidate, to cutting your Special Attackers' damage output by half and stalling the next. Naturally, Staraptor and Sylveon have great synergy too. Leadin' with them lets me cut off any and all chance they have of OHKOing my team. Once I reach the post-story and replace Fly with U-turn, I'm gonna have a wonderful time with said lead team.

Goomy's evolved into a snail, which is definitely a dragon.
I think I'm going to train a Sliggo, give it an Eviolite, and not evolve it. Sliggoo > final form, though I don't have any actual disdain for Goodra, I just much prefer its earlier forms.

Now that I've beaten the champ, I will get some post game shenanigans done. I will most likely end up EV training some more Pokemon for my use. Mega Banette, Mega Aggron, Mega Pinsir, Barbaracle (I actually do like it), aforementioned Sliggoo, and Klefki are examples of the many things I am interested in training.

I'll start X pretty soon here, with the expected team:

  • Delphox
  • Aegislash
  • Trevenant/Gourgeist (in rotation with Aegislash)
  • Clawitzer
  • Slurpuff
  • Malamar

Regarding Trevenant and Gourgeist, I'm leaning towards the latter, but I love both of them. And for the seventh slot, I don't know for sure. For whatever reason I have an urge to use an Ice-type. Leaning towards Avalugg, Beartic, and Vanilluxe. There's also the possibility of Stunfisk, as I've never used one in an actual playthrough before. [strike]Oh, look, I mentioned Vanilluxe and Stunfisk in the same paragraph. More likely to get ripped on than usual, #h8uguys[/strike]

Huh. My HM slave Binacle has an Impish nature and Tough Claws. I might as well promote it to an actual team member and evolve it.

Just revisited a Pokemon Center and talked to a random NPC guy, who of which made a Mother 3 reference. I swear to Xerneas if Nintendo is doing stuff like that and the Onett Times on Miiverse just to **** with me I'm going to game freak out on them.

In other news, the Fairy Badge is mine, that and getting my Mega Gengar on (oh how I've longed for this day) is the only things I've been able to accomplish in the last 24 hours. Stupid "job"..... I have more important things to do like level up my Drifblim and find a Shuppet, or see if there are any mother-karpin' Misdreavus in this game. Why can't the Army see that?

Probably never. Cover legendaries are interchangeable for the plot, and that's how it's been since the beginning of cover legnedaries in GSC. Minor dialogue changes t' stay relevant with said interchangeability across versions, but generally you get the cover legendary for your plotstuff, and the other one is mysteriously missing. 'Til the third game in a Generation... which would be Z for Gen 6, obviously.

... But who knows, maybe they'l surprise us. XY's been full'a surprises thus far. And also references, apparently.

nah

Anyways, I forgot t' post an update again. But I also didn't type one out at all, so I'll be brief: got my seventh badge (Gym 7 is outta this world, let me tell ya), caught Xerneas, my team is overleveled as ****, and my Pokedex completion quest is goin' swimmingly.

Also, two (important) fun facts for us competitive trainers.

Destiny Knot is the best thing ever.

Macho Brace and PokeRus don't improve Super Training. Tested the former myself, Google'd the latter outta curiosity. So yeah, Super Trainin' is even slower than traditional EV training than previously assumed.

And on that note, we need t' find and distribute a PokeRus Pocket Monstar amongst ourselves. Otherwise we'll be EV trainin' at half efficiency until the Poke Transporter is available. I'd suggest derpin' on Wonder Trade and hopin' to find one, but considerin' all the Scatterbugs 'n Zigzagoons up for trade, the odds of findin' one is hilariously bad.
