I might post another pic from the beach set (of which I already posted two) that has DT specific content, hahaha! I guess it depends how jolly I feel a little later on this fine New Years Eve (after finishing up work, biking, sausage and beer [and more beer]).
:)
Ooo, DT specific content. Have we seen you before? I love me some older men =P

Hahaha, no I am semi-mysterious (and may stay that way) - though that is me standing in front of the Tantra sign a few posts back (posted the interior pic for you, it's kind of so-so-ish...). That was a rare short 'do, as it's usually longer (I think, again, I'm totally dark, hahaha!).

Mysterious huh?

I'll never show my face

Celeste, you look very nice

I'll eventually cave in and post a pic, but not of my face. You'll never see my face.

Might wear my Screaming For Vengeance shirt.

Yep, thats the Mandarin :D
So good!
Omigosh I know.
Now I'm craving it.

Do you have Tucker's Marketplace there? It's another good buffet. They have chocolate mousse, which makes Celeste a happy bunny.

We have one around, but not too close to us.
I have heard good things about that place though.

And you should come up one time to the Mandarin, my treat

Is Mandarin (assuming here) Chinese? Do you fine folks to the North have PF Changs? It's like slightly upmarket Asian, really good (though deadly caloric I think from oils). It's kind of like an Outback - mid level chain, good consistency, great service. They have a nice little outdoor area too which we usually prefer.

Sounds awesome. Sometime when you come to TO we should hit up Town & Country, it's a buffet I haven't been to yet but it should be good since it's right downtown. It's actually close to where I live, I'm just always in Scarborough for school so I go to Mandarin and Tucker's lots xD.

And DT bb, yes it's Chinese. It's a pretty awesome buffet. So much food it's kinda overwhelming. I always stick to the same stuff though, I'm not all that adventurous xD.
We don't have PF Changs here, no. Or Outback.
For as big and amazing (supposedly) as Toronto is, there really aren't THAT many good restaurants. Sassafraz will always be my #1 (that's where the celebs go when they're freezing their arses off here).

Outback is only so-so, it's just the same sort of restaurant model. The PFC's is incredibly good especially if the weather lets you sit outside. Anymore, we're more about the whole experience - just going out for food we kind of got over. If it's outside dining and/or a real specialty food [we can't easily reproduce at home] and/or part of a trip, then it's worthwhile.

I absolutely *love* to cook (I'd actually like to get some formalized culinary training) and combined with wanting to eat healthy, we eat at home quite a bit. I hit up epicurious.com or foodtv.com and will try just about any recipe, regardless of the complexity. I've got a dozen or so repeaters - maybe I'll post 'em (got a Tuna w/ Shitake cream sauce recipe that's so good you'll want to roll around in the sauce "nekkid").

You know a recipe sharing thread might be pretty fun (?)
