Yeah, it sucks. I'm playing every day till 5:30, doing homework or something else till 9:00'ish, then am so tired I just want to fall asleep. On weekends where I normally have extra time, I'm playing tournaments.

Very busy. X: Hoping to open Photoshop soon, but I have to go study for 2 tests momentarily. I won't have a "regular" schedule till the end of this month, and damn am I looking forward to it.

Tell me about it. The rare moments of free time that I seem to get are a luxury. Anyway, see you back here after your tests are over.

I think they both look awesome!
what would really look cool is if you mixed the two, like put some color in the b&w or some gray in the color one.
but that's just my opinion...

I made this:

I didn't make it 'cause I thought it would look good, it was just random pentooling. Just felt like mucking around with colours.
Why? Because I've been wanting to make a sig all day, and I haven't been able to find a decent stock, so to get my creativeness out I just made that lawl.

Better then fisting myself with fury I suppose.

Hmm, what's the difference between the two?

I like it, but the text doesn't stand out that well. Try a simpler font, like Arial (white color) and play around with the opacity. Also, if you're using Photoshop, try using Gradient Maps (go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Gradient Map..) and change the blending options of them.

the one on the bottom, the cards have a slight motion blur behind them, as if they are moving (guess i'll enhance that more)..and also the bottom has a black and white gradient map on it but i put it on overlay and set the opacity to 35 i think. Thanks for ur comments! I'll work on the text. Thats where i always seem to mess up :lol:

That is a very nice piece. I personally feel as if the light could be brighter, but it looks great as it is. Nicely done.

Thanks man, appreciate it. I like the idea, but I feel the lighting on some of the facial features (tip of the nose, for example) don't correspond with the lighting, so use the burn/dodge (forget which is which) to sort some of that
Also I think the right of the sig is too dark, lighten it up a touch, and I feel the negative space could do with something (whether it's the subtle brick wall of a stock or something)

Also rid the text though I like the concept with them, it ruins the flow and the focal. Though I do like the opening and the light source, good job man.

Looks like I haven't done much, but I've done a lot of work on the lighting, and some work to the depth and colours. Original stock:
