Hey what does everyone think of my design? C&C please:

I like it. Nice design. One piece of advice... try making your sigs smaller. You can use the same content for some reason the bigger sigs just don't look right to me. Maybe it is b/c of more empty space.

Also you might want to try blurring the background a bit and adding a little sharpening detail to the foreground for depth.

400 x 130 is what i use but I know others use different diminsions.

Smurf - Work on depth. Sharpen the front of the car, and gradually have the car getting blurred towards the back. Work on flow and colours also. Rid the text too

^^ I prefer the purple one. They are missing something, blending. Blend the characters in more with the background, try to get some more depth going on in the background & foreground.

I like it man, the blurry cup of pencils in the front really help add depth to this piece. I have mixed feelings for the text though... everything else looks good just the way it is.

very nice i like it...ur gettin a lot better...colors work well...only thing i would do is blend the render in a lil more esp by the shoulder area...but great job!

Thanks man, though I did do work on the depth in this tag, didn't do much to the pencils that's how it was on the stock, and I think they're overblurred. But glad you like 'em. You should go on PR more dude.

I've been sorta thinking about going back to PR some more, but I'm not sure. Some of the people there are kind of annoying to be honest, at least to me. Getting my stuff critiqued is difficult since I have to keep bumping my threads continuously just for them to notice, especially when they rate every single piece around there all except for mine, and if nobody critiques my work, how am I supposed to know if I should improve anything? You know?

The artists there are excellent, just as good as the ones from SigOfTheWeek.com.. but I guess it's just the way some of the members are that keep me from constantly going back.

Nice work, Foosoo. I like the colors, and animation. I haven't been much involved in signature animations in a good while, but seeing yours like that helps bring some life into it. Work more on the depth and lighting tone of the sig. Just as Bliss mentioned, get some blending around her, especially around the shoulders to remove the choppy edges. Try using the burn tool on the darker areas of the sig to add more depth.

Oh, and about your sig you requested, I'll have it done. I've just been distracted with other things, so bare with me.

Hey everybody. I've been having random-absence syndrome lately...

I like everyone's work though...very nice. All the newbies seem to be improving greatly, and Mike, love the new piece. As Gikoku said, I have mixed feelings about the text (hate/love type thang'), but all in all a great job.

Yeah, it sucks. I'm playing every day till 5:30, doing homework or something else till 9:00'ish, then am so tired I just want to fall asleep. On weekends where I normally have extra time, I'm playing tournaments.

Very busy. X: Hoping to open Photoshop soon, but I have to go study for 2 tests momentarily. I won't have a "regular" schedule till the end of this month, and damn am I looking forward to it.
