Looks good Budo. Nice use of effects and render positioning.

Dude.. remove the border and text, or try to make them with a better look.

Hm.. work on colors and effects and depth.

The stock itself seems distorted from the original, dunno how that happened. I really emphasize the text and the depth. I'm sorry, but you always do a bad job with the text; you "overdue" it. Make it much simpler, less conspicuous. The depth isn't even there, really. Very flat. Colors aren't as distracting, but those as well.

Not horrible, just not "good". I'll try to guide you along with text. Next time you make a sig, PM me the PNG. and I'll see what I can tell you. :)

Text isn't easy, but it isn't that hard as well. You just have to see how it fits correctly.

Here's some examples (of my sigs :D):

It doesn't have text, but how can I add text in a sig that doesn't seem to have space for the text? Easy.

Simple, with good colors, and with good fonts. Play with the text settings too.

This one has text, but if it didn't had that rectangle the text would have been really bad, but in this case, it's good (I suppose :p).

If there wasn't text in there the bg, then it would have been really empty. So when you are suppose to have calm and simple bgs, put text in there.

The text position is very important, put the text next to the focal, either way it will distract it, and it will look unprofessional.

Give colors to your text, nice colors, colors that match with the bg or render/stock.

Hope that this helps. :)

thanks it helped a lot....

i guess il keep trying until i get it right..i';ll try it on my first ps sig when i get back from school

Love that sig. :p

Literally a 25 second job here, but all I did was add a gaussian blur to give it a softer feel, then lowered the opacity to make it less a render and more of a signature. Tbh, I don't like how that looks, but you get the idea...

Ricky makes a very good point though, if it's a conceptual sig, most of the time guaranteed, the text is going to be a big part.

You keep text out of the way of the flow. If you put it right in the middle of the flow, it ruins the flow. You just want people to think, "Hey look, this sig was by iRAWR...nice text." Not, "ZOMFG DASS SUM NIC TEXT BOI". 1) Because to do this you would have to make text the focal, and 2) if you work THAT hard on the text, it's going to end up standing out to much.

Mm, maybe Ricky could help me out on this question? That's just what I've learned.
