Two new ones..
Both versions look good, but I prefer the second one.

It's really cool, demonflair, but IMO the top right is a bit too plain, which turns it down a bit for me. The border just doesn't work for me either :D

So I try again: What do you think about this?

Try duplicating your render and on the lower render level do a filter/blur/radial blur and change it to a zoom. Then adjust the amount to whatever you want. Also play around with this layers blending mode b/c that may change the look a bit more to your liking. I'm not sure what I would use, but I would at least give it some trials. It should give you more of a feeling that the render is coming at you. Then maybe sharpen the top render. Then cntrl click on the top layer render and go select/modify/contract contract it maybe 2 -4 px then select the inverse and erase. That should blur your render more inline with the zoom radial blur you just created. If you don't like the look back up. :).

Just a couple of suggestions, based on what I would at least try on your sig.

Thanks a lot! I know what the zoom blur is, I can't believe I didn't think about that when I made it. About the layers blending mode, that was more or less what I spent time on in this sig. I duplicated, chnaged modes and opacity and did all sort of blending adjustments all the time. I just had to decide on something in the end, but I like the outcome that way. The last things you said sound interesting, but I don't think I can do them in GIMP...
Thanks for your suggestions anyway, I'll try when I have time :)

Syntax... you need to change your sig's style a bit...

Lately I have been browsing variois graphics forums looking for helpful tutorials and or tips to improve yet I haven't come accross anything that interests me. However I could always try messing around with different blurs and stuff like that to improve the signature later.

Something i've been working on...I don't know what to call it. I just felt like doing it...it's more of a picture than a sig (even though the dimensions are for a sig :pPPP). Small animation, everything was custom made except for the Prime "sprite" (I thought it looked like a toy, which gave me the inspiration. I was going to do a lot more with it, but i'd need MUCH larger height dimensions). Just for reference, I looked at no tutorials and no sigs gave me the idea, so I won't say it's original, but this has to be my 1st sig that was inspired from another tut/sig....also tried to throw in a bit of perspective. Feedback would be great.

IMO, it's crappy. No actual "style" was used. I was basically just creating an image..bahh, I dunno. I just felt like making it.

I find it amusing. I work at radioshack and we sell all the current (and lame) transformers toys. It actually [roughly] resembles one of them. =p

haha, that's cool. ^_^ Even if that was a diss, that was pretty much the purpose of it. Not to say "OMG THAT SHELF IS NICEEE". I just want people to pretty much look at it and think about it/find it amusing/whatever.

Just thought I'd add... it wasn't a diss. I like it in an amusing fashion. =p It's definitely different.

i agree no real style bt tbh i like it, maybe you should start a IOTW comp (image of the week) lol to make things like such... though if we get any more comps we may as well quit our day jobs since were gonna need the extra time :p
