I don't believe that is true at all. There is a reason they are referred to as prospects over that of other minor leaguers, they show promise and it is a good way to keep payroll down and play for the future, which doesn't make fans happy but it makes management happy. I see your point of getting established players, but you have to consider the Marlins are not exactly shelling out dollars for their players and they most likely will not change that philosophy any time soon.uloseiwin said:Yes, I know theyre called prospects and although it doesnt make them bad, its more likely that they are bad than good...I still think that trading players who you already know for a fact are good players and successful in the MLB away for prospects that you dont know how good they will be in the MLB is too much of a risky move.
