well, no Giants game today. will be able to finish SPM in peace. just wanted to throw this out there:

Who here feels like baseball should open later than April so that incidents like the Milwaukee Indians and suspended games should not happen? It'd be easy to start the season in May and go back to playing double-headers on Sundays so that all 162 games could get in, owners would make their money, and they'd still be able to finish before November. Anybody like it the way it is, or think that cold area teams should start on the road for 20 days?

no way. I wouldnt be able to wait that long... Its baseball season, this is the best part. if it started any later, it wouldnt work out well. They were talking about it on espn

Yanks didnt play today. They are in Oakland tomorrow so its going to end late here. Lets Go Yankees!

The season scheduling is just fine. The Cleavland snow is a once in a life time thing. And the Brewer and Marlin suspended game just happens. Believe me, the Spring/summer time in Florida is a rainy part of the year.(thats why we need a new stadium)

It's never really been this bad though. I still like starting in April. Double headers on Sunday would really take a tole on starting pitchers as well. My stance is to keep it the way it is.

Everybody seems to be in favor of the current schedule. I guess rainouts are just part of the game.

YAY!! 800 posts. this means absolutely nothing, but who cares? YAY!!!

This is kinda random but its baseball related.

At my Baseball league in my town theres gonna be a Homerun Derby and first prize is a Wii! I'm probably gonna go for it. Give the current Wii to my brother so he can take it to college and 'll keep the new one. Or if I want some money I'll sell it to a kid in my class lol.

I'm watching the fish take on the National League Evil Empire, the Braves and I noticed something.

Doesn't the Braves stadium remind you of the stadium in Wii Sports. There are similarities in the outfield seating area but the dimensions are dead on.

the seating is more like a dome in the outfield. marlins killing them 9-3, and the Giants scored some runs!!! 8-2!!!
