Obama all the way. Clinton would NOT be as bad as so many of you seem to think. But she simply wouldn't bring about the dramatic change that the USA so badly needs right now. 8 years of George W. Bush has sent this country into such steep decline, in the world's eyes, economically, with our civil liberties, and just about every other category that exists. It has been a DISASTER.
And John McCain would simply continue almost all of Bush's policies! Just because he has "experience" doesn't mean a damn thing. Bush's administration was chock-full of people with tons of "experience" and look what they did to the nation and the world, it's a disgrace!
So there's a lot more to consider than just so-called experience. Judgment is much more important than anything else, and Obama's got it.

So people, get away from the phony left/right scam that's been pulled over your eyes and realize that most citizens and even most candidates don't fall into these simplistic and childish categories. Be a free-thinking independent person, stop pretending that all Republicans are "war-mongers" and stop pretending that Democrats or liberals are "socialists", it's such a load of horse-**** that you just end up sounding ignorant if you say these things...

Aside from being supposedly "against torture", McCain is almost EXACTLY like Bush in his view of foreign policy, the scam of "terrorism", and the need to pump all the money to the rich so that they'll supposedly continue to create jobs for the non-rich...it's such a complete joke. If you pay attention to this stuff, you ought to know that Obama is the clear and obvious choice for putting the USA back on the right track towards a better future.

Now just remember to get out there and ACTUALLY VOTE!!

Quite strange, as Clinton's probably more conservative than Obama.

It varies issue by issue. Bill Clinton is easily more conservative than all three, his wife however, less so. Hillary is willing to garnish wages to meet the goal of universal healthcare. That's not one of those positions you'd call 'conservative'. At times she's gone with Joe lieberman to criticize Hollywood's social excesses--which is technically a social conservative position, but if you're more of a fiscal or national security conservative, it's not the sort of thing that will woo you.

And then there's the 1990s. Not everyone remembers the scorched earth warfare the Clinton's wage--both of them this time. But I do. Anyone who was against them hated children, old people, and kittens, and deserved only to be compared to Hitler. Some may say that's just style and doesn't affect substance, but I beg differ. That level of demonization (that makes Rovian politics look like a mime fight) hurts everything, burns bridges to compromise, suppresses political participation (by design), and makes politics less potent.

I'd rather do battle against an honest died-in-the-wool liberal than against a dishonest panderer any day. I'm not alone. Barry Goldwater was looking forward to a campaign against JFK, who he considered to be principled and honest, and not so much against Johnson who was more Nixon than Nixon was.

Now, we seem to disagree, but note that I'm not belittling you as ignorant simply on that basis. It really is possible to disagree without being disagreeable, and there are benefits to it.
