You're not ready to go to the castle yet. Go back to Telma's bar and look at the map on the table. That will tell you where you need to go next.

go to where the cat is, then use the rod to catch a fish ( look for where the fish are), when the stick, or whatever that thing is, goes down, pull the fish out of the water. Game cube version, just pull the c-pad. Wii version, hold the wiimote up till the fish is out. Catch a second one and the cat will run to its master's house with the fish, follow him, and done.
 
I did a little bit of cheating.

I beat the monkey with the boomarang but I saved the game as it frooze last time. I restarted to find myself at the begining of the temple again.

Now I know becasue I looked, that I need to get to room 3 where the 4 monkeys help you across the bridge, but I need to be on the other side of it too room 5 but the monekys are not there to help.

Now I went to another room and found myslef in a room where you have to throw a bomb at a boulder to release a monkey, I'm asuming that this was room 12 and I can infact get to room 5 from room 12.

If not I'm boned.

ANSWER = your a wolf still, so it's called, call the twilight bird and ride him back to lake hylia.
 
Ok I'm really confussed now.

I've collected all the monkeys and gne to the room they are all bouncing up and down in together, now I've been in every room and freed all the monkeys so why is there still a spot in the very top right hand corner not filled by a monkey.

If they are all there what do I do next as I'm trying to get to the locked door I can see on the other side of the room.
 
Since you have all the monkeys when you walk into that room they should all climb up and make a giant monkey rope. If they don't, for some strange reason, try walking out the room and in again. If it doesn't happent then you do not have all the monkeys. Try finding the compass and map if you don't have them and see if you can find the last monkey. It took me a while since I never found the compass.
 
Hi all, this may seem like a stupid question, sorry if it is.
Where do i get the clawshot from? i have just got into the water temple but have no clawshot.
