But I wanna support Nintendo (ie. no/very few games emulated/backups only).
Homebrew isn't very exciting for me. The appeal was PM/region free for me, and that has waned.

Personally my PC is not very good for most games I wanna play. I'd like to build one this Autumn so I can stop bitching. Maybe rid myself of the 400$ Netflix/bluray machine (PS4).

Bollocks to emulators, well apart from MAME.
Current gen consoles are shity and are effectively killing off my interest in modern gaming (day 1 DLC, day one HUGE patches, on disc DLC, DLC being announced WHILE THE GAME IS STILL BEING MADE!!, games that are copy paste, unfinished games, preorder only crud, season pass B/S, WOW SO DARK games, unlikable MCs, uninspired character designs (new FF im looking at you), throw away games, exclusives of arse)

Dont think ive missed anything

Might as well spend £300 on upgrading the PC as most good games come out on that anyway

Steam is now allowing modders to charge for content.

At least the Nexus will still be up and running, as the Workshop was terrible for organizing and installing mods.

Money. (Values of) Prices get more expensive every year but everything else doesn't change/advance as quickly.
