Bioshock Infinite is getting some very positive reviews. Unexpected, considering the first 2 were underwhelming. Or perhaps that's the problem?

Based off the GI magazine featuring the game from years ago, it's a save the princess story. Of course, if the devs finally got their **** together and got rid of the simplifications in the Bioshock games and used elements from their earlier games then there's some excellent potential available for 'em.

The Bioshocks were simply put, watered down ports of System Shock 2. Yes, Rapture was nice, but the motives behind it were not at all justified. Moral choices were laughable at best. Gameplay and combat was streamlined for the low thought capacity of today's gen. It's way too simplified. Playing the game simply made you miss SS2. The developers lured us by stating it was supposed to be a spiritual successor, making things worse. It wasn't a bad game. Sure it was fun, I give it that.
And Bioshock didn't have friggin' Shodan.
