Insomniacs assemble!!

What are you talking about
Death in CoD is blunt
The music is not melancholy
There is no sadness in CoD

Death in Pokemon is also blunt. There is one sad song in Pokemon, therefore Gen I is Majora's Mask!
The entire CoD series is a sad existence.

Hidden death? Assassinating from a hiding spot. ... Hidden blades.

On a completely unrelated note, I've finally figured out the mystery behind what irks me in AC:2, 'least I think so... The flow of the story. The transitions; as well as some of the many timeskips; don't feel right t' me at times. As every other console AC game doesn't jump around even half as much, I believe that's why I get into 'em more, despite 1 and Revelations not bein' better games overall.

There is one sad song in Pokemon

?????

I don't give a damn about large casts, quality over quantity. It manages to pass my expectations.
Pokemon has decent quality outside of the large cast. Well, aside from lack of story and repetitive formula. I find the gameplay itself decent, and has a decent overworld.

Decent quality + Quantity as opposed to High Quality. Pokemon pulls off the quantity part well. You're acting like the quantity means nothing, which is dumb, considering the quantity is a big reason why Pokemon is so popular.

Comparing Sacred Stones to non-competitive Pogeymanz is an insult t' Fire Emblem as a whole.
Not really. Talking about Pokemon like you would talk about CoD is an insult to Pokemon as a whole. ._.

Yeah it's a nice overworld, but this isn't the snes era anymore. Easily outdone by other modern games. According to what the pokemon community here has said, the main reason to play Pokemon is competitiveness, although game doesn't even track those EV's or whatever they're called.

Hence why I said decent. Of course they could improve. If I thought the Pokemon series was an amazing work of art I wouldn't constantly talk about how it could improve. It's my kinda thing, but I can see why people consider it lacking. Pokemon is like an giant unpolished gem in a cave full of smaller, but polished gems. Despite being good, it needs more work then the others, but it also has the potential to become better then the others.

Any game series can improve. Unfortunately, Pokemon has no need to and I don't see it happening in the near future. It's popular and it's beloved by its fans. There's no reason to mess with any changes. If the games struggled in the market, they might try something new. Same with Squeenix. Damn them and their unworthy ownership of the Xenogears IP!

I can dream (possible) dreams....

A Pokémon MMORPG that's actually licensed by Nintendo is something that I've always wanted. It would include every region from old installments and new, but I would mostly hang in Kanto and Johto. See? I have dreams too! :3
