No but a sense that something is wrong in the world
No it's not. I don't see any evidence that the games were made in mind with the same mindset as Majora.

No but a sense that something is wrong in the world
The music
the hidden death
the hidden sadness
What are you talking about
Death in CoD is blunt
The music is not melancholy
There is no sadness in CoD
There is one sad song in Pokemon
there is a lot of sad music in pokemon
Pokemon has decent quality outside of the large cast. Well, aside from lack of story and repetitive formula. I find the gameplay itself decent, and has a decent overworld.I don't give a damn about large casts, quality over quantity. It manages to pass my expectations.
Not really. Talking about Pokemon like you would talk about CoD is an insult to Pokemon as a whole. ._.Comparing Sacred Stones to non-competitive Pogeymanz is an insult t' Fire Emblem as a whole.
Hence why I said decent. Of course they could improve. If I thought the Pokemon series was an amazing work of art I wouldn't constantly talk about how it could improve. It's my kinda thing, but I can see why people consider it lacking. Pokemon is like an giant unpolished gem in a cave full of smaller, but polished gems. Despite being good, it needs more work then the others, but it also has the potential to become better then the others.Easily outdone by other modern games.
I can dream (possible) dreams....Any game series can improve. Unfortunately, Pokemon has no need to and I don't see it happening in the near future. It's popular and it's beloved by its fans. There's no reason to mess with any changes. If the games struggled in the market, they might try something new. Same with Squeenix. Damn them and their unworthy ownership of the Xenogears IP!
