Does God exist?

Hmmmmm... Well, I do get out of hand at times... I'll change it.:D

Yes

:yesnod: Why don't you look up on google diffrent religions and stuff?

If you have one, you could check out a church near by and ask people or a preacher.

I happen to believe.

NO. There is more proof of evolution, and how the earth formed than there is of your so-called "God". If "God" exists then why are we in this economy right now? Why do most people have crappy lives?(hobos, etc.) There is no "God"!

You must be a new, Juke321.:D Please, enjoy here at WiiChat!:)

So much negative... So much...

God didn't give you guys this so-called "economy" or that crappy lives. It's what those people chose their life to be... It's like this:

If you don't pass college or graduate High School it's more likely to live in the streets.

The economy is George W. Bush fault... In America, so many people are easily manipulated by his words... Then this economy happens.

Rob some bank money eventually no one will trust in that person.

It just so happens he does exist. He just doesn't go around you because you don't believe in him. I do and so far my life is great!:D I pray to God every day to be thankful what I have and I live every day. Maybe he is letting you live for now 'cause there is a chance to live on here on Earth and on heaven. If you choose to denie it... So long...

@KB: the only 'empty' in my life is cause i don't have a healthy mother to be with during the holidays. don't even try to assume ANYTHING about me cause you don't know.

i used to be just like you. praise god and all that stuff. but as i got older, i noticed flaws in the reasoning. certain stories in the bible contradict each other. how the church leaders tell us to act, isn't always the best choice for us. so i figured i was just believing in the wrong religion. i began researching others, hoping to find the 'true' religion. but i found flaws and problems with all of them. so after some serious thought, i decided not to believe in any religion. not to believe in any god or anything of the sort.
how did the universe come to be? through the big bang.
where'd life come from? well once the ideal conditions were met, the first single cell organisms formed and from them, life evolved into the current.

why believe in something that does not exist.

@fox: epic post of truth. and you noticed that too? 'god works in mysterious ways' isn't a proper answer, its just a really long way to say "I don't know."

*sigh* You cut me real deep just now Shadow, you really have.:(

*KingBowser just shook his head slowly assuming that Shadow really lost what he had*

I'll just tell you this, just this... It is never too late...

That is all I'm asking. BUT if just keep rejecting... I don't know the future holds you man...

the future holds for me what i'm willing to work for. i'm working towards a career in gaming so if i apply myself i'll get exactly what i want. thats what the future holds for me KB. and when i die, it'll be like fox said, i'll be dead and buried in the ground. no heaven or hell crap cause there's no such thing.

when your religious, its always this life second, the 'afterlife' first. that puts the wrong perspective on things in my opinion. you're more likely to ignore or miss out on great chances cause you'll be worrying about how it will affect your afterlife.

Me worry about the afterlife will effect me?! Ha! On the contrary my little friend I'm living what I should thankful of! Living, breathing, food, helping others, and etc and you should be happy too. And then when I'm old and had my great life we'll just see what would happen. I'm just here to convince you, but it seems like you chose that path to reject God many years ago... Who knows what he'll do with you when you die. Maybe he'll put you in a chair in a room and say,"What makes you deserve to live upon this heaven?" And you better have one good exclamation. If this happen of course. Anyhoo, like I said, it's never too late man.

Still, wouldn't it be great to be in heaven.:) Living in eternity and harmony...

I don't seem to follow how that works.

I would say you're less likely to do those things because with the (christian, at least) afterlife concept, you would be further assured that every action of this world has its consequences and every day isn't guaranteed. It makes every step in life more valuable. Sure, the awareness of death would also make that eagerness apparent, but putting God in the equation only furthers that desire to live each day with quality.

you know, this whole debate reminded me of something. its from a book of fantasy and fiction but overall i find it to be a good representation of the AthiestVsReligious debate. look up the book Eldest of the Inheritance cycle. the chapter Visions Near and Far, page 541, bottom of the page.
the main character, Eragon, asks his teacher, an elf named Oromis, what the elves views on religion are. Oromis answers that elves don't believe in religion and then explains why.

overall i agree with Oromis, life is better without religion and if there is a god, why should the diety be worshipped?

I'll see if I can check it out and get back with you on that.

(EDIT: I suppose it's better to respond after reading it.)

He protects our world, but man kind have disobeyed him... Open your heart and let him through. Feel the love and compassion flowing in you. Don't make a mistake.

I always lol'd at the popularity of the white Jesus image. But I guess people have to draw the guy somehow.
