You too don't know that the Canadian border isn't that way.That border just checks were you come from.Unlike the US Mexico border you need to cross a dessert and a couple of rivers in order to get in the US.Once you're in the US you need to worry about immigration and some other stuff.My parents are Mexican, I know about that kind of stuff.
