Wii to surpass Xbox 360 by '08?

i got both.. i love the graphics on xbox360 great with my hd tv. lots of many titles to choose from and many good ones. the 360 is coming out with more great features. xbox360 is more adult intended and more of competative playing. my wii is for fun party games to play with friends. easy fun enjoyable games. great for kids.. most of my family wouldnt even know what to do in some of the 360 games. hope nintendo think of better updates im not really a fan of internet, news, weather on a console. if your connected with a computer with internet already u can look up everything and do everything right off your computer much easier. but yes the numbers for nintendo will be big due to the fact kids, teens, and adults love them just like the ds.. that is why the numbers for ds are soo good. they provide fun easy enjoyable games for everyone. playing games by yourself is not always fun that is what online is for. everyone has their own opinion so its pretty much pointless if ya arguing on which is best.. since this is a wii forum.. obviously the majority people will be on the wii side..

The wii kicks ass... And as for it bein a kiddy console... Hello (I've said this before) Wii is the only console where you can get hardcore porn (via opera :thumbsup: ). Now THAT aint kiddy...

About paying for internet. I have a pc. I pay BT To access the internet. I don't want to have to pay Nintendo in order to have my wii access the internet connection I already pay for... I don't have to pay Dell to f*cking go online! Why should I pay my console manufacturer. If they offer a good unique service/good (VC games etc) I will buy that (if I want to)...

Most likely It wont because ITS FREE. But I dont see that many great online games for the Freaken 360 there's Call of Duty, Gears of War, Vegas and a coule other gun games, wow Amazing for 50 dollars Im not getting ripped off. While the Wii will have like 5-7 games online this year for Free (metriod, Super Smash, Battalion Wars 2, Mario Strikers Charged, The BIGS,and Pokémon Battle Revolution) Plus we dont know if Nintendo can make other Wii games like Wii Sports online playable too seeing how Pokemon is already out in Japan and will be online later this year, Also rumors say Mario Party 8 may have online.
So yes we dnt have as many games online this year but by the end of 08 we'll have about 15 games online and there be free to play while the 360 will have about 16 games online that alot of people pay for 50 dollars a year. I think we're lucky and should be hgappy with what ever we get for online.

i dont see how that screwed it up...you have no clue what they are going to do with the friends code or online play in the future cause they probably dont even know.. the friends code is just and easy way to play with people you know... im sure when it comes to online games you eaither just go to a central meeting point get a group and play... or you can invite a friend or just play with friends.. they could go anywere with it.. they arnt going to make there online gameplay the same as everyone else

In my Opinion of these 2 GREAT Consoles.

The Wii is for Mainly Adventure, Multiplayer games and Long Games
Xbox is for Online Shooters

If you think about
Halo, Gears of War and Lost Planet
And
Zelda, Monkey Ball, WarioWare

They both Good Consoles but the Wii still isn't past the 'Hype' era. Wait until you can buy Wii's like you can Xbox's and see who wins then. I don't care because they both good xD

its going to be up to playstation i think.. if playstation doesnt come down in price then i think it will be split even between Wii and xbox.. wii will get all the new gamers and old gamers who have left but comming back... and still some hardcore gamers intrested in the new game play

360 will get all the playstation people because its cheeper and has better online play.. if playstation doesnt last then all the top 3rd party games that use to be playstations will go up for grabs to the highest bidder... or split between all three.. and for wii it isnt going to jump into the gamers relm... not yet.. they wont try to snatch the "gamers" titles cause it will cost to much and just like nintendo lovers they arnt going to buy a new system over one game..

so as of right now im gonna give the lead to nintendo.. just cause of this "hype" lol that cant keep them on the shelf for more than 15 minutes were PS3 has been out a few weeks longer but collects dust.. we will see over the next 6-9 months

You don't know that, I don't know that, no one knows that. It's all public opinion, you may love the 360's online but I bet there are hundreds of people who hate it, it'll be the same for the Wii, some will hate it, some will love it, only time will tell. (How cheesy does that sound)
