Yeah private school... normally we don't have to pay anywhere near as much.

I'm getting most of mine second hand though.

Also on the topic of parents buying crappy games never happened to me since if my parents are going to buy me something theyll ask me. better to ask than to waste money. I bought metroid today! wooooooo I gave in to temptation and threw caution to the wind, I'm yet to play it though. I called up JB this morning asking if they would give me the game guide for free with it even though I didn't preorder. They ummmmed and ahhhhhhhed about it, and eventually said "No" so then i went into the store and the guy at the counter said, we're giving you the game guide for free!!!!!!!! woooooo, so now i must not cheat with it that's all =P

Anyway I had my Calculus exam today and it was pretty difficult, everyone else found it difficult to though so hopefully it gets scaled up.

I'm still pondering over that deal at EB for SMG its looks awesome from what I've seen and I think I'll get this before I get Metroid. However should I sacrafice Wii Play, Strikers and NFS:Carbon for this game (talked my sister into getting rid of it)?

Free Interactive Channel Lets Users View, Vote for the Best Mii Creations

REDMOND, Wash., Nov. 8, 2007 – It's no secret that fans of Nintendo's Wii™ system love their Mii™ characters – those adorably cartoonish caricatures of friends and family members that can be used in games like Wii Sports™. Some of the more artistic fans have even taken it upon themselves to make Miis of celebrities, politicians and fictional characters. Nintendo supports consumers' creative spirit with the Nov. 11 evening launch of the Check Mii Out Channel. This free new channel can be downloaded from the WiiWare™ section of the Wii Shop Channel by people who have their Wii systems connected to the Internet."The Check Mii Out Channel lets people show off their Mii creations and vote on those created by others," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "It's yet another way that we're building fun, interactive communities of Wii owners without charging them extra for the privilege."

In the Posting Plaza, users can submit, exchange or just browse Miis posted by others in their region or worldwide. The channel offers the ability to look at a random selection of 1,000 Miis or to see just the current or all-time favorites. Players have a variety of ways to search for specific Miis, including by the name of its creator or by a number specific to each Mii. Once users have found that "special Mii," they can even tag their favorites or import them to their own Wii systems.
The contest section of the Check Mii Out Channel challenges users to submit Mii creations to represent a specific person, character or theme. These could include historical figures (Abraham Lincoln or Vincent Van Gogh), fictional characters (the Tooth Fairy or the New Year's Baby) or descriptive themes ("the biggest bully ever" or "the overbearing boss"). Users can then vote on Miis submitted by others to determine the Mii that best fits the challenge. Each contest will generally last two weeks: one for creating and submitting Miis, and the second week for people to vote on the results

The Check Mii Out Channel is the latest addition to other fun, interactive informational channels, such as the News Channel, Everybody Votes Channel and Forecast Channel. To me this basically the Everybody Votes channel...except with Mii's. Meh its free once again can't complain.

Another nother thing my brother got around to getting DBZ :Budokai Tenteaidsahfj.....2, I think the Wii Remote controls suck, however the classic controller makes the game pretty fun. Its quite lengthy as it goes through all the DBZ saga's and the Movies. The Z Items annoy the crap out of me though, there's a ton of them but I always just fall back to using the same ones, and a lot of them become/are worthless. Overall I give it a 7 or so, its fun but fighting games really aren't my cup of tea (Smash Bros obvious exception).

Another nother...nother thing I got a classic controller they're pretty awesome, although some VC games (more specifically N64 games) have some weird controls. But it feels awesome when playing SNES games.

Yes COD4 is out in OZ, but Its sold out wherever I look. Spose I need to look harder, and I should have preorder, I played the demo and loved it. MUST. GET. THIS. GAME.
Also plan on getting metroid, BWii, Umbrella Chronicles and Mario on their appropriate release days.
