Wii in Australia thread

I am so glad that I didn't do Maths - it was on the same time as Modern History. I really sucked at Maths. In Year 9 I was actually good at it - I got around 85% for my exam... But then, I started to go downhill... By Year 10 I got about 45% - although, that was because the teachers bought the exam paper, and admitted afterwards it wasn't a very good one. The average mark was 50%. It convinced me not to do Maths in year 11 and 12.

Anyway, I've been playing Mortal Kombat over the last few days - and it caused me to what to play more MK games (but I can't - only one for Wii atm) and to wanna watch the movies. And my god, they kinda sucked. There were a few really bad special effects. Scorpions spear, when it came out and planted itself in a tree. Reptile was horribly scary CGI creation, and when Scorps took of his mask and breathed fire... Very very funny. Anyway, that's a bit off topic! So, ON TOPIC - I love the Wii MK game. So cool. And the Four Corners of Death - ooooh so cool. I am hopeing the New MK game will be released on Wii. Whenever it actually gets released.

i bought MK today, Its awsome, I got it for a great price aswell. $25 brand new. The corner of the case had like a 1 cm crack in it but was still plastic sealed. So the guy at JB gave it to me for $25. Im loving this game.

Well, as I said earlier I did the trade in deal with EB, so I'm getting it for $80 from them, depends how much 3 days and $50 means to you? Also something to think about, EVERYONE is going to try and get this deal, so they will run out of stock very quickly, and I doubt they will offer rainchecks as it's a one day sale, so you had better get to Big W damn early on saturday if you want to pick up that deal, and dont be come crying to me if you miss out =P

I think I'll also get GH3, I've never played a GH game before but it looks pretty fun. Super Mario Galaxy soon also, quite a few good games coming. Metroid as well :yikes: .

Im unsure about GH3, My brother has the previous ones on ps2 and i didnt really enjoy them that much. Galaxy is a must buy for me.

To Peter, Lord of lol,
I looked at the site and it said Back stock! Meaning: They might not have got enough stock. But (hopefully) more likely is that Australia Post is being silly and being slow and you should get it before Friday. That's my experience with Aus Post anyway

Also, I plan to get the 360 version of GHIII like i've said a bigillion times. I decided against the Wii version for 2 reasons
1. Downloadable Content
2. Guitar Hero II
3. (I thought of a third reason!) Apparently the guitar in Rock Band will be compatible with Guitar Hero and vise versa, saving me money in the long run
And I plan to go to Big W 8am in the morning, and if they're out of stock run home and call the 2 big W's around me and see if they have any.

Now, i feel like ranting.
Phoenix Wright is awesome! I mean, the last case on the second game was brilliant! Thats all I can say.
Also looking forward to the Simpson game, due it its funny

Ok, I was just reading at some mysterious site that many people who work in...SHOPS!, they have short supply of the Wii version of Guitar Hero, but not off 360 and PS3 so y'all better be quick! OR BUY THE 360 VERSION! I will love you forever if you do.

And also, if anyone was looking forward to Zack and Wiki for their Wii this christmas, ITS BEEN DELAYED! Here only, of course. Cause Ninty hates us. And Endless Ocean has also been delayed.

Do I play anything but MK? No, I do not. It really really helped me during my exam times, you know? The whole killing people... Oh yes, it's very good for you. Takes away some of the stress... Except when you can't beat that blasted Goro! In Konquest he's not that hard, but whenever I fight him in Arcade he's always harder. I destroyed him as Onaga though - FLAWLESS VICTORY! So yes, I really do recommend MK (or shooting games ie Perfect Dark on 64) during exams or stressful periods - and you can interpret 'period' anyway you want. They both apply.

Nice and subtle there Ekiushi. I've never played a MK game before, I prefer Super Smash Brothers Melee for my random beating people up (In a Nintendo way). Hmmmm I might play some of that actually. I have an English exam tomorrow, but I never study for English anyway .
