Wii in Australia thread

Yep, I finished school on the 1st of November. I shall always remember that day of freedom!

Anyway, I was walking past EB Games today and I saw the outside walls all covered with Super Mario Galaxy and got really excited, thinking 'OOH A GAME!' But then, I saw it had a release date. Very depressing.

They think it's a movie and that it's coming out on DECEMBER 27.

Hehehe? What the hell does that even mean? I'll probably get SMG, how much do you think I would get off the price if I traded in 2 wii games for it? I'm not sure if I have 3. Mario Strikers charged is a good game, but I must admit it gets a little boring...But I don't like giving things away, especially $100 things...(Yes I bought it from EB Games on release day, there was an intro price at Kmart but because of their ****ing huge lines and me being very annoyed because I had to walk up there in the cold and freezing in the first place and it was about to piss down did not bother to wait and I'm kinda glad I didn't because as I was walking up my driveway I got drenched) Wii Play I don't need. It's fun for people who are new to the wii and rayman OMG, I get so pissed off with that game.

But it's my bro's so I'm not sure if I can trade it, Spider-Man 3, my bro's again. He only likes it because you get to swing around the place....How many traded in games for GH:III?

My brother brought GH:III so no trade in there. As for SMG I'm still unsure what to do about it two games or three games, three games to me feels a bit of a rip but then agian all those games do is collect dust.....

I will probably be getting a trade deal for SMG from JB HIFI, the only problem with that for you is that they dont take Wii Play as a trade in. But you can trade in just TWO wii games and get Galaxy for FREE, but wait, there's more, you also get a FREE play guide (the premiere) edition too, so that's fantastic value! Again though, the except every game except for Wii Play and Wii Sports.

That's a tad confusing...trade in 3 wii games for to get it down to 89.95 (sorry bad english) and then one more wii game gets you it for free...? How does that even make sense? But I guess that's trade-ins for ya. Sucked in to the PS3 people their games cost about 2 times more than what they do on the wii and they still got give in 4.

I'm still not sure about which game to get...? But the more and more I think about it GH:III seems to be getting more and more enticing...WAIT! They've got all those cheap ass games now don't they? Like koronopia and crap, perhaps I could buy one or 2 of them, pending on price and then trade them in instead of other good games I have.? Would that work out or am I just stupid....

I might ask my mum if she wouldn't mind buying me SMG for christmas...Also another option is, I could (becuase my bro and sis work at Kmart) buy the game whatever it may be and then if I don't like it, I could take i back becuase we have those blue seal things, but I suppose I wouldn't be able to do that for GH:III also, would you reccommend getting 2 guitars I I did get it?

1) I stand corrected, sorry. So you are able to trade in Wii Play and they take it as an actual game!? Well if that's true then I'll most likely get it.

2)Yeah, I know that, that's why I need to play the waiting game.

3) Yes the only thing with my mum is that were going down the cost over cchristmas day and stuff. So she might count that as our christmas present, which no offense is a tad cheapy. But we'll see.

IF you were to trade in Wii Play, which I got completely free with my Wii (bought from BigW day it came out, and lady though you got WiiPlay free, not WiiSports lol). And then pick up a traded in copy of say Kororinpa. You'd save money, but not much. Trade ins are always a way for them to make money, you are better of selling stuff on eBay.

Lol! I didn't notice that with the EB poster. But it does look like the one I saw. I didn't give it a close inspection... After all, I was with mother, aunt and grandmother, so they wouldn't have really wanted to stop and look at video games.
