Twilight Princess Movie?

am i the only one who remembered liking the mario bros movie? it was 13 years ago. so, for a 7 year old, it was awesome.

actually for the record I wanna say this about the Super Mario Bros. Movie.

It wasn't that great of a movie, it didn't stay completely true to the game, etc, etc. But, it was enjoyable, fun, and entertaining. So that's why Super Mario Bros. is a pretty awesome movie! In my opinion anyways.

i thought i heard a while back that nintendo was launching a film studio where they would make animated features about their various franchises. Just like the numerous pokemon anime movies. I think it'd be VERY easy to pull of a movie about mario or link if it were anime. But since they announced plans to do that, i've never heard anything about it again, negative or positive.

You guys are all saying "Mario sucked, so no Zelda."
Mario: Plumber jumping on turtles with overalls.
Zelda: A young warrior chosen by the goddesses to save a Princess from the evil shadows.

Just because they're made by the same company doesn't mean a movie from both will suck.

its like i said, if the casting is right (and by casting i mean zelda), i could see how this could be good, but nobody effing talks in zelda games, so how are you supposed to say: "hey, that sounds exactly like Link!". but you make a very good point: there is a story to this game, so if its pulled off right, it could be awesome. not as awesome as 300, but still pretty awesome.

Thank you for noticing my point.
But think about it...does Link have to talk? I mean, we've gone through decades of Zelda games without hearing so much as a "Hello" from Link--and we've been fine with it! Happy, in fact. As long as there is supporting dialog, that sounds like one hell of a movie to me.

I can just see Ganondorf's feet storming into a dark room...
I would totally see that movie...
