If the sandstorm had killed balstoise than your last pokemon was probably snorlax or venusaur which blaziken could have taken out easily.

well it knows sky uppercut so using that, followed by flamethrower would have probably killed it. So the last pokemon was snorlax right?

i only had like 30 bp and then i battled the tycoon guy and it gave me 20 more bp

I'm trying to get enough wins in the battle tower to beat the tycoon master becasue he gives you 20 points, but I keep losing after about 19 wins.
BTW does anybody here know what all the other battle tower prizes do like the flame orb/toxic orb, power bracer/power anklet, and all that other stuff does

The flame / toxic orb activate after a turn and cause burn / poison. The power items are for EV training. Read the sticky on it.
