I was talking about getting the Item when you recruit the DLC Ike

You can get items when you recruit people?

How come I didn't get Ragnell from beating Ike?

Cards Charactes Don't have any items on them.

To get that sword you need to recruit Priam

So are these other character appearances canonical or what? Can't see Ike and Ragnell suddenly appearing.

You can get special teams on SpotPass in the "Bonus Teams" section. They appear somewhere on the map whenever you make them.

Each have a category (ex. Sacred Stones) from which you can choose a character and some of their army (ex. Ephraim).

They are all dead and just a memory of there former selves. We can battle them and get their cards which allows us to recruit them.

However Priam is not dead and the sword is old and lost some of it's former power.

Also, they have no voices. Only words/text.

Oh and one of them is not dead but there are cards of this character's younger self.
I wonder if you can even get her youngerself card?
