I used most of my money on weapons and such.
No more merchants on my map so I missed the opportunity.

Forging changes the weapon itself, right? Not copying it?

You can forge weapons in any shop. And what do you mean by "copying"?

I've heard of Fire Emblem before, but never played it. What exactly is it about and what do you do?

It's a strategy game

Control your units and rout the enemy

Oh what systems is it on...my guess is wii and 3ds. Cause I'm thinking of getting it

Fire Emblem Awakening if for the 3DS

Then there is:
Shadow Dragon: DS (it has Marth)
Sacred Stones: GBA
Fire Emblem 7: GBA
Path of Radiance: Gamecube (it has Ike)
Radiant Dawn: Wii

and those are only the English ones

I recommend Awakening

But if you want to start form square one go with Fire Emblem 7 just titled Fire Emblem

It's vaguely like chess, if you're unfamiliar with the series. Turn-based strategy which also contains RPG elements as well as a focus on characters.
