Was able to find one more Awakening and snatch it for myself.

I'm so cheap, I stayed up until 12am to get that DLC. :lol:

Not that I'll be able t' get Awakening any time soon (sadfaec), I might be able t' dig into that FE:12 fantranslation soon. Or so I sincerely hope. Once I crown myself as Champion in my Challenge thread, think I'll play through Shadow Dragon on *5 difficulty in the mean time.

there are some reoccurring characters that appear in the DLC

What does it do and how does it work?

DLC means downloadable content, iirc.

It's a way of adding content to a game after release. Although many developers just hold back part of the game in order to sell it later as dlc.

No, it's not necessarily an extra. Some DLC(like Mass Effect's for example) contains vital plot elements that is crucial to understanding and linking multiple games in the series. Awakening probably does not contain such a thing. Maybe.
