I hadn’t thought of Nintendo being concerned about the Wii being to porn but they must have considered that when they decided to include a web browser on there. As must Sony when they added a browser to the PS3. Do the parental controls limit the web browser at all?
I’m afraid speculating is all we can do for now. Like I say, maybe we’ll get a taster of how Nintendo aim to implement their online service next month but I really would like to see them improve the service sooner rather than later. Maybe it’s unfair to compare the Wii’s service to Xbox Live (even Sony’s online service isn’t a patch on that yet) but I think Nintendo still need to get the very basics in place even to be considered as a player in the online gaming domain.
