The Canadian Wii Finder *Revived w/ a new title*

my borther was at bestbuy in toronto and they said they were getting shipments tomorrow. do you think other bb will be getting some?

As of right now I'm just going to give up for a bit. This hunt has been unhealthy for me mentally. However, I will still call every Friday so I have chance. Weekends are my only option.

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Got my Wii yesterday (finally). I was working so my dad had to go to walmart. He was there at about 9:30ish, and there were 3 ppl waiting in line to the electronics. They started handing out #s and by about 10ish they had em sold out. Only got 6 in though. I was damn lucky. Ive been hearing that walmart gets them at 10:30 normally so I was gonna call my dad and tell em not to get there till 10:30ish. Good thing I never called.

So I've been playing wii sports for a while, fun as hell, but really itching to play Zelda:TP. So last night decided to go back to walmart and get Zelda. SOLD OUT. Man, its taken me a month to find a damn Wii (actually my dad found it) and now how long am I going to have to wait to get Zelda.

Anyway, amazingly fun, hope everyone here gets one A.S.A.P. and to those who are planning on giving up, don't, I was going to but I just kept calling and reading these forum posts, and my dad was able to get it for my based on info you guys are posting.

Thanks again to everyone on here to gave useful information. It is greatly appreciated.

P.S. just a general conclusion:

Walmart, Futureshop/best buy, are probably the best bets, they seem to get the wii's in more often then others, but try odd places, I was told, but I dont know how true that Microplay/jumbo video gets them in (how often i dont know) but even try the Real canadian superstore. Zehrs possibly. Anyplace with an electronics section is worth a shot.

Good Luck to all who are still hunting, and Thanks again to all the people who helped with useful information

real canadian superstore is a waste of time I think, as they have been taking down names this whole time, and putting them on a waiting list. So when they do get them in, they call people on the list, and don't sell them instore.

This is what the St. Catharines store told me anyway.

I dont know exactly how the futureshops back east work but the ones in Vancouver get their shipment around 12:30 p.m. i was told. The guy said to phone around 1 pm and they would know they are getting a shipmnet in. Try again this afternoon canadawiilover.

MAN! this sucks!!!! the day that i think futureshop is getting wiis in for me to go buy... and it snows in Vancouver again!! Roads are icy. Now i can't get to Future Shop to buy one if they come in!
