the ~Ask Anyone Anything~ thread

For whom does the bell toll?

Ganon has his limits especially if the opponent is always running away.

Foes playin' defensive alone in general is a huge hindrance to any Ganon player, even if they've not a single projectile. Bloody easy t' space 'em out, draw out an unsafe approach and punish. Only time Ganon has any chance at a fair fight is one someone plays offensively against 'em like an idiot. And even then, his endless slew of bad matchups does him no favors.

Would anybody here Brawl me?

If wi-fi backwards compatibility works with the Wii U, aye. It'l be a fairer fight between us than ever before since I'll be usin' a new controller... Ya might even win more than a few.

Ahah! Good question. One I'd happily answer since ya ain't a newbie anymore (congrats on 100+ posts by the way, I didn't notice  ). 'Till the habit of not double postin' is drilled in a member's skull, I ain't one t' tell 'em of rule-exceptions like these.

Double posts are perfectly within the rules, in absolutely any thread, if the situation calls. A few examples for ya. If a post is a gigantic wall of text highly relevant to a thread and encourages topic discussion, by all means double post. These kinds of posts are 100% legal bumps as well. Another example is time-sensitive information: if the leader of a clan needs to notify their members of somethin' but they were the last one to post, a double post is perfectly fine. This is because no one will get a notification if the newest post in a thread is edited, so if the clan leader edited in the important info anyone who had already seen their post before the edit would not receive a notification. Ah, and double posting in any White Noise threads is fine; Board Games as well so long as said double post doesn't break the game's rules.

Essentially, if the post is important it can slide by the double posting rule. After awhile I'll probably merge it if I remember and no one will receive any warnings or any such junk. Capiche?

Nah, not at all. They sure as **** break a lot'a rules, but I understand 'n therefore don't mind. Since they're just lookin' for FCs I just merge/delete/whatever without warnings and such. No need to pester 'em over that **** unless they intend venture into other parts of the forum.

It's simple characterization, with a slight Aperture science thing going on. Anyone, what gaming related thing are you getting yourself for the holidays?
