My novel that's (very very loosely) based on the first half of the original Alternate Plot is nearly done. The rough draft, anyways... it's about as long as Eragon right now.

And that's only the first half of the original Alternate Plot

I'm doing pretty well. I do miss the days of the plot, come to think of it... that whole thing pretty much taught me how to write.

Those were my best writing days too. It really was the best group writing experience I've ever seen, writing a story is infinitely easier and more exciting when you build off others.
