What's so bad about DLC? I personally like the idea of getting more stuff even after a game has come out, it's exciting and makes room for changes.

You're thinking of updates. Free DLC would be akin to an update. The more common scenario for DLC is paying more for a game after you've purchased it. There's nothing good to come from it.

That's irrelevant when it comes to a business. It's like the number of pokemon. If it sells, it's staying and will probably be expanded upon.

I WOULD have no problem with DLC, as to me the more characters the better, but...

I have absolutely zero confidence that they'll correctly balance a character that would come out AFTER the game's release.
