Super Smash Bros. 4

But are you sure they were planning Uprising during Brawl's release?

They also could've had nothing to do with each other.

I work at GameStop. Reservations for Uprisingwere going for awhile before Brawl came out. And yes, they may not have anything to do with each other, but if they did it was a great marketing strategy to get Pits name out there to the gamers who don't know him. It's more about publicity than anything else for what new characters go into super smash, and any game for that matter. Sonic and Snake didn't just get in out of popular demand, it was also an attempt to get those names circulating again.

And I can't thank Melee enough for adding Fire Emblem Characters to Smash
That is why we have English Fire Emblem games now

Marth and Roy were so popular in Smash their series went international

^ I would've never played a Fire Emblem game if it weren't for Melee. On that topic, I bet countless gamers wouldn't know 'bout Phoenix Wright if MvC3 didn't hilariously include 'em. Fighting game cameos ftw.

new Kid Icarus game that launched shortly after Brawls release.

Shortly? lolno

I think that they should add Kane from Resident Evil and I think they should add more people like Lucas.

Why? Is his English voice crappy? Or does it not exist yet?

Doubt it exists. Since Ike had an English voice but they didn't bother having one for Marth, it's likely the devs wanted him to maintain that foreign effect on the gamers from melee.

Or because Marth had no English games at the time

@RockerJ
It has yet to exist but Ike's voice is Japanese in the Japanese version and English in the NA version.
I like the Japanese one more
