I concur. Nothin' says "loltastic" like trippin' into a fully-charged Ike's F-smash.

There should have been an option to turn it off.

I am pretty sure you can turn items off but rob, the links, peach, and diddy kong can still make them

There's a difference between items and projectiles........

And no they all have items
ROB's gyro
The Link's Bombs (yes you can pick them up and they can be placed on the ground without exploding)
Peach has Turnips, Mr. Saturn, Bob-ombs, and Beam Swords
Ditty's banana's are definitely an item

All of these can be used as a projectile

Diddy would be complete garbage without his 'naners and lose his top tier status instantaneously. Trippin' should definitely still exist as a side effect of certain attacks. Random tripping is the only thing that needs t' go.

... Not that I'd complain if tripping as a whole was taken out, 'course. Hitstun > combos from a chance of tripping.
