Super Smash Bros. 4

That's something very different imo... They just function like Ice Climbers, but with Ike attacks.
Pretty sure íf the Chorus Kids will join, that it'll work on a different way. That's what I'm hoping for at least.

One of my friends wants Bayanetta ( if that's how you spell it )

Bandana Dee doesn't exist really. He is just Waddledee the Toads of Dreamland.
????

Also I kinda want Captain Toad to be playable now.

Chorus Kids are well designed
I disagree, but even if they were, good design isn't enough to make a character Smash worthy
their fighting style may be interesting, but that also doesn't mean they deserve it
they'd be little more than Ice Climbers +1, with possibly rhythm based attacks. The rhythm thing might be cool, but Karate Joe could do that too, and he's at least appeared more frequently in the series, whereas the Chorus Kids have only appeared in two of their own minigames (I believe the "remix" minigames are partial appearances). And Karate Joe's design may be lacking, but they could redesign him for Smash (same with the Chorus Kids, granted). Maybe to make it slightly more music inspired.

Edit: ****, of course they're on the damn boxart...that helps their stupid case.

Bayonetta*

Wouldn't happen, as she hasn't been in a single Ninty-platform game (what with Bayonetta 2 not yet released)... cryin' shame since Bayonetta 1 is gettin' a pseudo-release, and perhaps that could'a made 'er fit the requirements of "2+ appearances in a Ninty game" to appear in Smash.
Consider the Nintendo mashups in Bayonetta 2

I guess your right
I thought his name wasn't official

They are simple, iconic, cute, and monsters. What more could you ask for

That's some good design
Looks like it was vectorized on a computer

Initially I had a problem with them being too generic for SSB, but I realized that they could redesign them to look better while keeping them simplistic. I don't understand your particular fascination with their designs but I no longer mind them, and I will agree that they look better than Karate Joe. It's not the designs that bug me, it's the fact that they're very minor characters. Rhythm Heaven isn't known for having important characters (outside of some memes), but even then there are some from it more noteworthy than Chorus Kids. They appear on the cover art of the first game, and that's about it.

Well, actually, reading the wiki more, there is another minor character by the name of Marshal that has an absurdly similar design. While he seems roughly as notable as the Chorus Kids, if we combine both of them based on their almost identical designs, we get a character that's likely notable enough to appear in Smash Bros to represent Rhythm Heaven. While the Sal leak does specify "Chorus Kids", it's very likely that it's just a character who resembles them. I could see them using the design (hopefully with a bow tie) based on both characters, probably under a different name, like how Red was called "Pokemon Trainer" in Brawl (stupidly).

I can't wait to play the villager.
What new character will you play first?

I already pointed out that I think of all the newly confirmed characters, Villager looks most fun to me so far.
And I believe Mr MR agreed with me on that.

Villager: 3 The rest: 0

Make that

Villager: 3
Greninja: 1

Greninja > Villager > Palutena > Rosalina > the other confirmed newbies

To get used to the game, I'll probably give Mario a shot first to beat Classic mode or something. He doesn't look too different from his Brawl incarnation (Mario Final is still his Final Smash, and it still doesn't look very effective...) so there's very little chance I'll main as him. I'm considering maining as King Dedede or Little Mac since they look fun to play. (That and I liked Dedede in Brawl.) I am excited for Villager, but he probably won't be my first go to newcomer. It also bugs me if Rosalina and Luigi are going to be unlockable, since I doubt all the Mario characters are going to be unlocked from the start.

Speaking of unlockable characters...

I was lurking around Brawl's (Not Smash Bros. 4) DOJO! website and found something interesting.
I looked at the release date for Brawl in Japan. It was January 31st, 2008.
All of the unlockable characters were added to the site a day after that, Febuary 1st, 2008.
Therefore, assuming Sakurai's using the same method for revealing characters, it would be pointless to ponder if Ness and Captain Falcon are returning to the roster, if they are indeed unlockable characters, since they won't be revealed before release date.
However, if Luigi and Marth are unlockable again in 4, my logic is destroyed.

Greninja, no doubt.

Villager is probably the highest-tier of all the newcomers.

If you've yet to play any'a the new characters, ya certainly can't make even an accurate guess of whether they'l be above or below average.

If you've played the demo, nothing in the game is final; not only the characters shown, but the roster. For example, in Brawl's pre-release days, Mario apparently dominated Brawl's E3/demo builds and the cast that was currently select-able. After nerfs, mechanics changes and the introduction of the full roster, Mario went from plausibly high-tier to low from Brawl's release 'til this day.

Lastly, and most importantly, metagame doesn't solidify int' somefin you can accurately judge and take statistics from until months after a game is released... 'til those months of research, and data crunchin' and statistics become a tad more steady and can be streamlined into somethin' sensible. The "first weeks" metagame is a joke and means absolutely-**** all to proper competitive metagame in the long run, bar maybe givin' a few characters a head start in metagame development. As an example of said metagame bein' a joke, I absolutely thrashed literally everyone in Basic Brawl with my Ganon for like a month, and I didn't even play 'em in Melee... AND he's been Hyrule-tier since forever lol.

It's not very effective...
