In regards to Ridley. A valid thing to point out in anti Ridley arguments, that Sakurai himself seems to think it wouldn't work. It doesn't necessarily apply to Other M's Ridley, as said game was released in 2010.

... Other M-Ridley is the same size as Ridley-Ridley. ._.;

Just "acceptable" is unacceptable.
Ugh you're making me have to resort to photoshop to show how other m's less lanky ridley would run into less resizing issues.

I'll leave these here. While not terrible, it does look a bit awkward, and if the hypothetical design actually existed, they'd have issues making his movements and attacks not look awkward with those limbs. He also looks a lot less intimidating at that size with those scrawny limbs. In the meantime, I'll see what I can do in photoshop with images I find of other m ridley.

It's not a matter of re-sizing issues, it's a matter of needing to severely down-scale. It's not happening.

Don't see how those images help your argument anyways. After seein' Ridley smack around the Falcon Flyer like a toy, it don't at all look right seein' 'em as tall as Samus.

I was too lazy to Photoshop anyways.

Although we do have to consider different forms. There has been quite a few different Ridleys like Meta Ridley, Omega Ridley, Neo-Ridley, and uh this thing...

I don't think it's too out of place if the potential one in Smash could be a different Ridley form or normal Ridley in an adolescent post larval stage.

No other character in Smash has had that occur to allow their inclusion. Reason being, any character in question that needs a new, Smash-only appearance, isn't compatible with bein' playable in their natural form. Ridley has to be severely modified t' be playable 'cause he doesn't fit in otherwise. That's exactly why it's not even plausible. No matter what good reasoning behind the ideas of him bein' playable can be conjured, the reasons against immensely outweigh.

Every character in Smsah has been modified to be in Smash. Examples being: Non-Fire Mario shooting Fire Balls, Twilight Princes Sheik ect. Characters will be modified to help them preform better in Smash, and Ridley would be no exception. By saying that you can't have a smaller Ridley form is the same as saying Shiek shouldn't have been in Brawl because she was not in Twilight Princes. Twilight Shiek was created specificly for Smash Bros and even Melee Sheik was directly created by Sakurai.
