hate to burst your bubble but the best confirmation is them it will have some wifi functionality. besides that they are loose statements and hopes, there has been no word from Nintendo that they are being able to put it online. im not doubting it wont be online, but that is still not an official confirmation.

When you think about it, this isn't really a discussion about SSBB. It is a discussion that should be titled: Are you literal, or do you assume?

Neither way of thinking is incorrect, and that is why this thread will never die. Some of us think that the game being online is common sense, while others of you agree with that, yet aren't about to go preaching it because those exact words have not come out of a Nintendo rep's mouth.

Thats very agreeable LIK....your right in that very statement you made....im one of those people who think and or know that it will be most definitly online, even though ninty didnt confirm it.....while Captan McCloud, says although that it isnt confirmed, he believes or lets just give it a 88% in his perspective that it will be online

This is how i think of it.

Online = Possibly the greatest online experience of all time if they do it right.

No Online = Mass fanboy riots and possibly Nintendo being torn to the ground by the raging sea of people.

Nah, people sovieto agree with me. The game is very likely to be online but we havnt had that sentence from ninty's lips yet.

But yeah, if this game doesnt have online life wouldnt be worth living. Not because of no online but because the internet will be flooded with fan boy riots and madness will cover all.

Plus Nintendo even said that if the creaotr didnt take the job to make brawl they would have just remade melee with online. Doesnt that pose the question why nintendo wouldnt put this one online?
