Guys, it's only a total of 5 maps, not 5 per character. It even says: Each of the five maps is distinctive. That sucks! Big time!

^That's probaly why he did video replay with the annoucment of only five maps for all of the characters. Kinda like a sonic and release date delay thing.

5 maps in total? They really can't do that to us, they've managed to do one for each every other time around, and they've got that stupid delay to work on it. It would be pointless anouncing it was back if there were only 5 maps, like an extra thing... That sucks.

Ok people: that particular mode has only 5 maps, you choose a character and that character has to go through all 5....that does not mean they won't have the typical mode where each one has their one target stage.

^No way. That would take all of the fun out of it because you had to use the characters' unique skills to get certain targets.

You guys really thought this was great? I actually was very much dissapointed...
Of course target breaking would come back. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one dissapointed with the updates lately

Yes, I did. About the recording and sending to friends. =) It still wasn't that great of an update, even though I'm sure I will use these features

^Interesting opinion. Personally, I think this is the best update in months.

Thats the same thing that got so much hype for Halo 3. Its going to make the Smash world extremely more accessable and will advertise pro smash to an extremely large audience.

theyre really putting a lot in Wi-Fi and i think there will be world ranking system

The only thing I am interested to know is that if we have to pre-determine what we are recording, or if we are asked at the end of the match if we want to save it. I am desperately hoping it is the latter, becuase if it is the first I can already see my self doing something amazing (Knee to the face? xD) and being like "DAMN I SHOULDA SAVED THIS MATCH!"

-NyaseNya on the Smash Boards said Sonic would be revealed at the Nintendo Conference
- BlueWave on the Smash Boards then said Sonic would indeed be revealed at the conference, as well as on the DOJO that day. He also said Brawl would be playable at E for All. A few days later, both of those came true.

Later, BlueWave then said all of this stuff:

- He then said the starting roster is this: Mario, Bowser, Peach, Wario, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Link, Zelda/Sheik, Kirby, Meta Knight, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, Samus, Fox, Pit, Yoshi, Ike, Ice Climbers, Lucas, Captain Falcon, and Animal Crosser.
- Said Captain Olimar is an unlockable
- Said the blurred out part of the Snapshots update is for a possible option to be able to vote on snapshots through the new voting channel Nintendo announced at their conference (I think they're referring to the demo channel, where you can also vote on demos, or maybe referring to the everybody votes channel)
- Jigglypuff and Marth return for Brawl as unlockables
- King Dedede is an unlockable in Brawl
- Mega Man is the third and final third party character in Brawl and will be unlockable. It is very possible that Mega Man will be revealed at the beginning of December, but it's possible he will be revealed earlier.
- Ridley is in the game, but in what form (Character, Boss, AT), he doesn't know.
- Lucario is in the game, but like Ridley, he doesn't know in what form he will be in Brawl.
- Break the Targets returns
- They are looking into a feature where you could trade trophies online, though they're not sure whether it will actually happen or not.
- The Paper Mario series will be represented in the from of an Assist Trophy, though which character from the series it will be is unknown.

For clarification, BlueWave did NOT predict that the Mario Circuit stage would be updated recently, that was someone on these forums.

He claims he has a source within Nintendo, but can't talk specifics. I don't know what to believe. He was right about a few things, and the rest seems likely.
