I still don't get it. Sakurai could have easily incorporated the series' that each character was from, I don't see the point in making a list of all nintendo games.

And why does he seem so proud of a list of text? I could make that list in my spare time, stick to what you're good at, Sakurai.

I'm convinced that I'm either misinterpreting this update or he's left something out.

xD Thats what I meant by 'left something out'. I really doubt they would have forgotten to add something after three delays.

It probably displays information about the game and its history etc...

That's all that I can really think it would be for.
It's probably just to get people to buy more VC games.

Nintendo still has a lot of hold on the game. I'm sure Iwata simply asked him to do it. It probably takes up half a MB. :|

5, at the most. I have a GBA and SNES emulator on my PSP and they only take a few MBs.

You can even zoom in for a close-up on individual characters while viewing replays.

That's what I've been waiting to hear. He didn't go into much detail when he announced replays, but I'm glad he decided to finally say something about it.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.. but I'll offer my point of view..

However, the Chronicle is a good way of bringing together everything that shows up in the game. Since there are a number of things we can collect (trophies, stickers, music, etc.), it would make sense that there would be an index that can tell us what games are represented and in what way.

The update doesn't detail its purpose, but I'm guessing each title can be selected and will show what collectibles have been obtained for the resepective game. Who knows, maybe it'll also say if there are some stickers or trophies we have yet to find.

Why does Sakurai inform us on things we already know? This is the kind of thing that should be in with another annoncement!

quit complaining, we're lucky he even made a website to tell us about his game, and hes kind enough to give us an update everday, 5 days a week while working on the game
