It's Meta Knight, whose introduction was delayed for some reason. He's Kirby's...rival?

Despite being almost all head, his mask and cape exude coolness. He overwhelms enemies with his mach-speed sword!

Does this have something to do with the subspace? Or that it was just saying that because Dedede is his main rival?

Do they have too work together eventualy?

Rivals are fueled by competition, enemies are fueled by hatred.

^Because the series is confusing in that sense. Sometimes they are enemies, sometimes they work together, so that means he is Kirby's rival.

The '...' is supposed to be Sakurai thinking for the right word (because its a 'gray-area' topic), atleast thats how I interpreted it.

Sakurai is using all the word mumbo-jumbo he can to get us thinking about the game...it's his way of helping us shorten the wait for Brawl...Everyone looks for a deeper meaning but half the time the answer is right in front of our faces...but don't ask me what the answer is I'm not that smart...

^Although I certaintly know what you are referring to, this is not one of those times. The answer is simple if you know anything about the Kirby series.
