Sure twilight.

Go to the Wii message board. It's the envelope in the bottom right hand corner on the Wii Menu. Click on it.

Next click Create a message. It's the Icon that looks like a pencil and paper.

Next click on Address Book. The arrows on the left and right allow you to flip through the pages of the book. The first page has your console number. This is the number you have to give others so they can add you as a friend. Write that number down.

Now to add a friend there is an icon that says register. Click that then click on Wii, enter the person's Wii number, then their nickname. and you are all good as far as adding a friend.

As far as sending Mii's:

Go to the Mii Channel, in Mii Plaza on the right hand side there is an icon that looks like an envelope with a smiley face on it. Click on it.

Choose a Mii you want to send and press both A and B over it to grab it.

drag it over the envelope at the top of the screen with the green circle then let go of A and B.

then click on the name of the friend you added in your address book that you want to send the Mii to. Then send it.

That should cover both adding friends and sending Mii's
