Routers

The Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router works fine.

Ninetendo Wii Fans who want to link their Wii console into their Wireless Broadband Network have problems.

And the only way around it is to spend money (abt $150) for this special next generation EV-DO Router. Why? Well, right now our nation's wireless networks, the major ones, are all EVDO.

I thought this particular sub-forum was for posting what routers worked and didn't work

not for how to get things working. That should be in its own forum - and if it doesn't exist, it should be created.

d-link brand but now we changed to BT Home Hub and it isnt working does anyone have any hints or tips for me to try
 
Linksys N Router

I have a Linksys N router, and cannot get it to work with the wireless. I have my old linksys G router so I'm going to try that and hopefully it will work. If not, I don't know what else to try. :(
 
netgear wgr614v6 (latest firmare) its wierd cause i had lots of problems with xbox live however no problems with the wii online

please help me, no matter what i try i cant connect my wii 2 the internet. Someone plz plz help
 
Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connecter- works great, the price went down to $30 so it's cheaper than a router, doesn't make my computer lag. I'd recommend getting it.
 
Wireless g router works for me. Although i had to extend the range and change the channel to 11.

I have a tp-link TL-WR541G wireless cable modem that worked first time with my new wii. no alterations to any of the setups just had DHCP enabled on router. i also have 4 other computerson the same network and router
 
I use a 2wire779 with WEP and my dad forgot the password so i cant connect wireless. Does anyone know how i could retrieve the password? =] help would be nice. thanks guys.

you could try logging onto the router and resetting the wep key from your router control panel:cool: :cool:

how can i log into a router that i have no idea what the password is though? :wtf:
 
motorola sb5101 surfboard cable modem worked great. just need to make sure and unplug its powersource for about 20 seconds to reset it after everything else is plugged in
