Realms--Official RP

The core began to glow then suddenly vanished. Seth was puzzled before the core instantly reappeared blasting energy through Eterna. Seth was knocked down by the force of it. He stood up and marveled at the sight. "Well Valentine, Eterna is running once more. Shall we go up and try to break it out of the mountain?"

Valentine gazed in astonishment. "It is beautiful...."

He heard Seth's voice even though he felt like he was in another world. It seemed this place was familiar to him because he had such enormous energy. He was feeling the memories of all who had died here, and the impact they had left in their energy fields.

"Yes, we shall."

With that, the three of them took off to free the city.

Inside the control room, Seth was looking over a scrolling text of runes. Hmm...strange. The heat that Eterna is outputting should be enough to melt the ice, yet the city is still trapped. Something is holding it down.
"Valentine. Naxus. I'll be heading out underneath the city. You both should stay here or explore the city. I need to find out why Eterna hasn't taken off yet."

Seth turned and left the room. He went down a large, spiral staircase until he reached a small room with a hatch on the floor. Seth opened it and leapt through, before turning around to see what was holding Eterna down. Oh, is that all?
Stones were lodged tightly into three large holes underneath the main platform which the city was built upon. Seth held his hands up towards the stones. "Kage-Rasen!" Dark swirls of energy began spinning around Seth's hands. Quickly he through them at the stones before creating another for the third stone. The energy hit the stone yet nothing happened...at first. Suddenly the stones turned black and began to twist in on themselves until suddenly the turned into smoke that was simply blown away.

Well that was easy. Seth brushed his hands off as he re-entered the city from the bottom hatch. Seth opened his mind until he reached Valentine. It should fly now. The large runic sphere next to the dragon symbol. Press it and the city will take to the skies. I'll be back up shortly, I need to check something first.

OoC: Kage-Rasen is japanese for Shadow Whirl

Valentine received Seth's mental message instantly. He let his fingers run across the controls, and found the Runic sphere button. His fingers applied pressure and pushed down on it. A sound was heard, an echo, throughout the city. It sounded like the deadbolt of a door being unlocked. Valentine looked around, and for a few moments, nothing happened. Then, a loud roar was heard.

The roar was not from the city, nor any creature. It came from the millions of tons of snow, dirt, rubble, and broken trees that were plummeting to the ground. The city was lifting into the air, rising higher and higher. It was enormous. As it rose, it was revealed to have at least a hundred yards more that had been hidden underground. The long spine of the city wrenched itself from the Planet as it continued climbing into the sky. The immense structure showed no propulsion system of any kind, only moving through the cranking magic core of the city itself.

Storm could feel the immense power the structure was using. In energy field terms, it was a vast, calm ocean of waveless strength. Storm walked throughout the city, inspecting it, looking for the best energy position. He could feel the structure was moving now, and at a steady pace towards Negliv in Drosin, the location of the Orb. Storm traversed the huge campus of the floating foretress, searching for the energy he was feeling. He found a strange metal room with sequences on the walls, he read them telepathically, and the room began moving. So... It responds to my thoughts...

He continued travelling upwards in the metal room, until it stopped. The door opened, and he walked onto the stable catwalk in the city. He walked a long time, tracing the wall for a crevice. Eventually he found one, and applied some force. The crevice turned out to be a door, and opened itself. He stepped out, and saw the sky, the ground, he saw everything. He was on the outer shaft of the city. He continued following the energy he was feeling towards the front of Eterna's outer skin. He traversed the epidermus of Eterna, scaling the immnsely stretched skin of the city until arriving at the very front. There was a long, pointed metal platform the hung in the very front of the city.

Being small and away from the larger parts of Eterna, it was relatively the focal point of the city. He walked out onto the precipace, feeling energy course through him. When he reached the very end, he felt a sudden rush of extreme power. This was the energy trail he had been following. From this focal point, he could sense the energy of everything on the Planet a few hundred meters below. He could feel the energy coursing through Eterna, and he could feel the slow, steady beat of the city. It was like a pulse, and he could tell the city was alive.

He drew energy unto himself, lightning sparking from the clouds as energy hurtled itself into him. The lightning was using him as a ground, and passed through him to travel to the core of Eterna, powering the city even more. He caught glimpses of the power, and was harnessing it. Soon, the city reached its destination, hovering over the Drosin capitol, Negliv.

Storm sent a pulse of energy throughout Eterna and the entire city shuddered as a bright pruple light expelled from the bottom of the fortress. The light suddenly shown bright, and a large cracking sound was heard, accompanied with the screams of the hundreds of Negliv inhabitants had just been vaporized. Storm looked down. Where Negliv had been a moment before, a large crater was now smoking. Storm held out his hand and emitted an energy signal.

A loud, high pitced screeching noise was heard, and a small yellow ball came rushing from the center of the crater. The ball flew into Storm's outstretched hand and glowed as Storm closed his fingers around it.

"Finally.... I have the Drosin Orb...." Storm grinned widely. suddenly, the city stopped moving. It did not tumble to the ground, but instead remained floating in midair.

"Of course... Utilizing so much energy, Eterna must recharge before it can move again." He glanced down at the Orb, feeling the energy waves pulsating off of it.

"Then again...." he smiled dryly. He then turned, Orb in hand, and headed to the core. He got there after a short period of time, and sent a message to Seth.

Come to the Core....I have an idea.

Seth was walking through the halls until he reached a large silver door with a shield and sword etched on it. Seth opened the doors and smiled. All these years...and still in such a perfect condition. Nothing can stop us now. Seth walked into an armory filled with swords, sheilds, spears, any and everything. The armory had every weapon imaginable as well as armor. Seth stepped in front of a tall figure with a golden suit of armor on. My old armor...truly magnificent. I have begun to hate the plan. I'm going to be forced into a spot where my faith will be truly be tested.

That's when Seth recieved Valentines' message. What is he planning now? Seth grabbed a scythe off the wall and sealed it into the gem on his right glove. It took him about ten minutes to go from the armory to the Core room. Seth took one look at the Core and instantly knew what happenend and what he wanted. "I see you discovered the Pulse Cannon. However I purposely withheld that information hoping you would not discover it. It only gets one shot every two years. I was hoping to save it and destroy the enemy in one blow. It's to late now though. The Core must recharge. In about a day it will be able to move again and soon after it will be able to do other things as well. And no you cannot speed up the process in any way or the Core will overload and destroy itself."

Storm chuckled a moment. "I agree. The power of this fortress is still a huge one, and I have no doubt in my mind the Rebels have located it. After all, it is pretty impossible to miss. That being said, the end of the War is near. I can feel it."

Storm stood at the core, attempting to catch some of its radiant energy, but was unsuccessful.

"We must defeat the rebels... Richand made his girlfriend healthy again. She is now more powerful than ever, as is he. We must proceed carefully, because I see a very...unproductive future if we make a single mistake."

"...Makantes still lives? Let me finish her- it's been a while since I killed her father. I don't want to get rusty."
Naxus chuckled and sharpened his claws.

"First we need to pick up Nurgle. Then we should head to Destry and summon forth the army. That is when I believe we should strike. With the full might of our army along with the sheer terror this fortress will create, all should be defeated easily." Seth paused and thought for a moment.

"Naxus, by any chance would you like some strong armor? Oh, and sorry Valentine but there is no armor that will fit you onxe you go into your demonic form."

Storm sneered. "A predator needs no protection from its prey. The fortress seems to have regained movement power, as it has been a full day." Storm gazed at Seth for a moment, studying his features.

"And dont worry about Nurgle.... I picked him up when we used the Pulsar Cannon on Negliv. If you remember, I opened a void for him to transport himself to Negliv's undercity. Now Seth, I trust there is more to this station than meets the eye. I can feel its tremendous power, so I know it is not only used as a defesive fortress."

Storm looked seriously at Seth. "What are the other secrets of Eterna?"

"Actually, they cannot be acessed for a while because Eterna is not at full strength yet. I will tell you then as I'd rather not spoil the surprise."

OoC: bayne, lbu and giga. you guys need to post as the heroes.

Storm grinned. He could feel the power levels in the city rising steadily. "Well then, until that time we shall wait and prepare our next attack." Storm looked around. He then sent a telepathic message to Eterna's core. He looked at Seth. "We are on our way to Valentine Tower. My senses tell me the rebels are still there."

Ooc: I completely agree with Shadow. This is ridiculous you guys. The RP is almost over, dont kill it now because of lack of posts.

OOC: Once again, the last post as the heroes was me. I'd like to build off someone's reaction to Siana's healing. Just posting as my two heroes over and over again won't work. Once a different hero posts, I can continue.
:(

my bad guys, i just got back from a school trip. I'm tired right now, but promise I will post tomorrow.

Nurgle was in a dark room with lit lamps. He looked around for an exit.A door way.
nurgle smashed the door open and walked out into a darken hall with runes inscribed on the walls. They lit the halls up with blue light. He looked down the long hall to see a metel door with weird engravings he never seen before. He walked sown the hall and into a marvelous looking city. Nurgle have never seen such splendors in his. He walked around the city studing it.
