Satra took quick of note of Sekhmet's advice, A bit angered her scouts haden't informed her of the weak spots. With her spellcasters canceling out Negliv's archers, her ground forces were able to continue to push towards the main gate.

Satra pulled her eyes away from the battle, and refocused on Sekhmet and his new friend. "Ah, yes Kaiburr. I have heard some great things about you. I want you to spearhead the attack on the weak wall." She summond a short, well built Lieutenant from a tent. "Move 20,000 men to swing around the left of the main gate. There is a breach in the wall. Move in and advance to the main gate. Kaiburr here will be your battering ram."

The Lieutenant scuttled off to give the orders, and a massive chuck of Satra's army slowly moved into position. With a wave of her hand, Kaiburr marched off at the head of the attack column. She turned back to Sekhmet, "So tell me Sekhmet, what went wrong? I was suppose to arrive to finish off a small number of Drosin's, engaged with the armies of Conud. Instead I find that both armies are behind walls, and ready to fight along side each other."

Meanwhile...
Oric Halgern noticed a huge force of infantry men moving toward his south wall. The frontal assult was still going strong, Oric had withdrawn most of his men inside the walls and his archers held off the majority of the Destrians as the last soliders of Conud trickled through. He issued orders for his battle worn troops to fall back into reserve and to have a fresh unit take up arms to brace the gate.

But now, he had a bigger problem. He saw why the Destrians were on the move. Sekhmet's blast had also destroyed a small section of wall, unguarded. Oric was angry at himself for not noticing the huge weakness in his defenses. He pulled a few hundred archers and riflemen from his walls and a group of about 10,000 men, leading them himself towards the opening.

As Oric's force arrived in position, he saw a huge man throwing repair men and soliders through the air like rag dolls. Behind him were some 20,000 infantrymen. Satra was going to try to win the battle in one sweap. Halgern barked out orders to his company comanders to position their troops. The riflemen stood up front, their muzzle loading weapons trained on the advancing Destry troops. Behind them where infantry, and behind the infantry were archers.

Oric waited until the Destrians were in range and yelled, "FIRE! Rid your homes of these unwanted guests!" A wall of metal exploded from the riflemen, instantly dropping any one in their way. Next a volly of arrows came screaming over the battlefield, and on top of the mass of Destrian Troops. Oric's riflemen fell back to reload, being replaced by a wall of shields.

Kaiburr broke off an arrow stuck in his arm, and pushed forward, throwing everyone out of his way. He grabbed a shield, ripping if off a man's outstreached arm. He weilded the heavy shield like a sword, send two, three men flying with each blow. He picked two men up by their throats, crushing their windpipes and tossed them aside. He continued to push and shove his way into the heart of the Drosin lines. However now he was cut off from the rest of his men. He stood among a group of broken bodies and enemy soliders on three sides of him. He was advacing much faster then the main force, which was now at a stand still.

Oric seized his opprotunity and jumped into the fray. He was still a little weak from his fight with Sekhmet, and almost second guessed his actions as he moved in behind Kaiburr. He drew his short sword and plunged it deep into the back of Kaiburr. The huge man swung around, drawfing Oric and knocked him aside with his forearm. More soliders came form behind him, swords drawn and attacked his thick, powerful legs. As Oric regained his balance, Kaiburr picked up a man by his feet and swung him in a circle. The man's head knocked against shield and sword, killing him and forcing the circle of Drosin soliders to grow wider.

Oric drew his long sword and spear, lunging at Kaiburr. The spear tip entered Kaiburr's leg, but didn't come out. He grabbed the shaft, and kicked Oric back. Spear still in his leg, Kaiburr swung a right handed punch at Oric's head. Oric answered with his shield, the blow denting metal and was knocked back. Next he drew his sword, swinging high. Kaiburr lowered his body into a charge, tackling Oric. The Prince of Drosin was quickly back on Kaiburr, stabbing at him with his large knife. Kaiburr caught his arm, holding the knife tip a few inches off his chest with his left arm and used his right to clobber Oric's face.

Oric dropped the knife and rolled away. Kaiburr lifting a sword from the battle field and swung it over his head to finish Oric off. A spearmen lauched his projectile towards the giant, who knocked it aside. However a few archers opened fire on his back, riddling it with arrows. Kaiburr staggered forward, intent on killing the Prince. The first slash was blocked by Oric's shield and as Kaiburr pulled back for another hit, Oric catapulted himself off the ground swunging a sword into Kaiburr's leg. The sword cut half way through before getting stuck in the flesh and bone.

Kaiburr still didn't go down. He pivoted towards Oric and swung. Oric managed to duck under the blow and climb atop Kaiburr's back. He pulled three arrows out of his quiver and lined then up on his bow, drawing the string. From point black range, he couldn't miss. All three tips cut into Kaiburr's neck, dropping him to his knees. Four riflemen stepped forward and fired into the human mountian. The balls opened holes in his chest, causing Kaiburr to gasp for air. Oric used a spear to finish him off, digging it into his oppenents back and watching him fall for the last time.

It wasn't over yet. More and more Destrian soliders poared through the opening fighting fiercly into the city. Oric was outnumbered and outmanuvard. Negliv was in jeporday.

ooc; Storm I hope you didn't mind he killing Kaiburr. He was a great character and I tried to make his death equal to his role in the Quest.

ooc; great work everyone on that last fight

ic;
The Soliders of Drosin cheered watching their leader defeat the Destrain Jugernaut. Oric's men were outfighting the Destrains, but were also wearing down. Drosin's archers and riflemen opened fire once more, providing cover as the infantrymen formed ranks. Oric swung around the right side of his men, dragging himself atop a horse and rounding up a few other mounted warriors.

The Destrians advance quickly and orderly crashing into the wall of Shields and spears. Oric held his hand high in the air, and brought it down quickly. His actions caused a few things to happen. First Oric's front line pushed forward, opening a gap between the shields of the opposing sides. Then a group of Drosin spearmen stepped forward and rocketed their javelins into the Destrian army. They were followed by the riflemen who advanced in three lines. The first line fired fell back and reloaded as the second and third lines fired, in which time they were ready to fire again.

Projectiles poared into the Soliders of Destry, creating huge openings in their lines. The Drosin archers took advantage of the situation and fired volley after volley of arrows towards their enemies. From an elevated piece of broken stone, Oric sat aboard his stallon backed by another hundred riders. They had stealthly manuvared around the Destry Army and cut them off from a retreat. He gave the signal, leading the cavalry charge into the heart of the Destrains formation. Heads fell off shoulders, limbs dropped from bodies, and blood painted the cobble stone streets in dark red.

Oric's charged destroyed most of the attack force, what was left was sent running only to be cut down by pursuing Drosins. However Oric couldn't waste any time celebrating. He gave the orders to repair the wall at once, and quickly rode back to the main gate. It gate still held, although his defenders looked tired. Upon seeing the arrive of their Prince their moral rose, masking their fatigue but not removing it.

Meanwhile...
Satra Morta watched, waiting for the gates of Negliv to open and her soliders to come flooding out. But it never happened. Surly, she thought, an attack force of 20,000 of Destry's elite couldn't be stopped by a group of farmers with sticks and stones. However the broken wall which was a weak point just a few moments ago was now the strongest point in Negliv's defense. The Drosin workers quickly began repairing the reinforced stone back together and not a single one of her men came back with a report.

Satra knew that the only way her oppenent could protect the broken wall was to send the majority of his force over to protect, meaning the front gate would be undermaned. She called out new orders for 50,000 of her remaining 70,000 troops to begin attacking the main gate. Without proper siege engines the casulties would be high and they would have to use battering rams to force open the heavy gates of Negliv, but eventually they would get inside. She was the unstopable force, agaist the unmovable object that was the stone fortress of Negvil.

ooc; Not as good as my last, the next post will be much better.

Naxus spread his arms.
"I cannot... I WILL NOT accept this! Shadowheart Armor! FULL POWER!!!"
More shadows leeched on to Naxus, increasing his aura even greater.
"I will never lose to a thing like you!"
OOC: Cell quote :). Also, Nicklas's speech was inspired by Android 16 telling Gohan to unleash his power, although it's much different from that one.
IC: Naxus dashed at Richand, claws outstretched to kill. Richand parried the blow and the two locked into a furious frenzy of attacks, similar to their earlier battle. This time, however, Richand was the one who didn't seem to be trying as hard. He blocked every attack that Naxus threw at him, countering with several that Naxus barely blocked. Finally, Naxus exploded with rage.
"This is it! I'll finish you!!!"
Cupping his claws together, he created an orb of deep blue energy.
"Shadowheart Sickle! I'LL END YOU!!!"
The orb shot out a gigantic blast of blue energy that completely covered Richand. Naxus laughed.
"Hahahahah!!! You're dead, human!!! Go meet your brother in hell!!!"
However, when the blast cleared, Nicklas remained with not a scratch on him.
"For what you did to Nicklas... I'll never forgive you."
"What?! Im-Impossible!!! No one... EVER survives that!!!"
"I WILL AVENGE HIM!!!"
Richand shot towards Naxus and slashed him diagonally downwards with his most powerful blow yet.
"CONSTELLATION COMET!!!"
The air around the two exploded in white flame as Naxus was wrenched from his host. His human host, a Destrian warrior who looked like he had not slept in months, collapsed to the ground, unconcious. The pool of darkness that was Naxus quivered feebly on the ground, near death.
"Please... don't kill me... have... mercy..."
"What? Show you the mercy you've never shown anyone?!? Tell me why I should spare you, the monster who killed Siana's father, the monster who killed my brother, in cold blood!?!?"
"Please... I... beg you..."
Richand paused, then turned his back on it.
"Get out of my sight. The next time I see you, I won't hesitate."
The demon backed away, but suddenly shot a huge blast of darkness toward Richand.
"I WILL KILL YOU NOW!!!"
Richand turned around and saw the blast coming.
"You FOOL!!!"
Richand shot out a huge beam of light that disintegrated the blast of darkness in the air and blasted Naxus.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
Naxus disintegrated into nothing. He was dead.
Richand powered down and returned to normal. All the Destry soldiers had either fled or lay dead or badly wounded on the ground.
"Nicklas..."
Richand swayed on the spot and fell to the ground.
"Si...ana... I'll save you... I promise..."
As Richand blacked out next to the unconcious host of Naxus, he only saw one picture in his mind: A picture of two people. Nicklas, the man he had failed to save, and Siana, the girl who he couldn't fail, not now, not ever.
Richand fell unconcious.
OOC: Excellent job, everyone. This battle was the most epic yet, I believe.

Sekhmet watched as everyone involved in the battle fell to the ground. He hummed merrily as he walked over to Richand's body, lying unconscious on the ground. He gave Naxus's host a look of disgust.

"Hmmm...What has become of you, I wonder...Not that Valentine will care...Hm hm hm..."

Sekhmet smiled. He then looked at Richands body. Unconscious, yet so frail. "Ill let you live this time, son of Zamikios, but only because you cannot continue fighting. My power levels still dwarf yours. One day, when you are strong enough, Valentine and I will destroy you."

Sekhmet rode off, being careful to avoid the armies. This fight was pointless anyways. He rode on horseback toward Valentine castle, leaving those behind him to die in the heat of battle.

"I found the Orb about a year after the incident with General Kylith. I was near the Grand Temple hoping to find some redemption when Destry launched a sneak attack. One of the cannons shot the temple, with me in it. I tried to get out when the floor colapsed. I fell into the shadows expecting death, only to wake an hour later. I was in an underground chameber made of a red polished stone. as I looked for a way out I found an inscription telling the entire history of the Orbs and the meaning of the Temple. Once I read that I searched and eventually found the Orb of Conud. It was a big red pearl with a green design on it. As soon as I touched it I heard to voices. One told me I would help save this country, the other said I would destroy it. Then the orb suddenly vanished into my armor. The mechanical system in it dissappeared into the Orb and my armor changed into what it is now. I don't know how to remove the Orb and I've spent my life afterwards moving from place to place, doing what I could to keep the Orb safe at all costs."

Xenth finished his story as Seth had a drink. Both were sitting comfertably in chairs although Xenth uad his arns and legs tied to prevent an escape. "I see. So you found the Orb because of us and the plan for you is so twisted because you could both save and destroy this war. I do believe the Orb should be taken from you, however I believe only Sekhmet would know how. I know how all the Orbs work, as well as of the origins, having been there myself. However items embedded with ancient power would be something Sekhmet is more proficient with. So you will stay here until he returns. While your sword and armor shall go into my vault for safe-keeping. Servant."

A servent pressed a stone on the wall and suddenly a painting moved back to show a grand vault door. It had no lock or combination but rather a seal and inscription that read: Only those of Eternal right, shall see through the wall with sight. Seth walked forward and sooke the same language as before. The seal on the door glowed gold and the door vanished. Seth placed Xenth's sword and armor inside before muttering a word. The door reappeared and the servant pressed the button again, reseting the painting. Since my chambers have no window, and you cannot get into the vault you shall be untied. My servants will get you any food you desire. However the will not open the vault for only I know how."

A servent went and untied Xenth as Seth left the room. There was a soldier coming up the large staircase carrying an unconcious girl. "Soldier, where are you taking her?" The soldier stopped and set her down. "This is a gift from General Naxus sir. He ordered she be taken to Lord Valentine." Seth simply looked and asked "Who is she?" The soldier concentrated for a moment to try and remember the name. "Uh...I believe it was somethin' Makantes, sir" Seth's eyes opened at the name. "Makantes? My, my, Naxus sends a great gift. Soldier, I will take her up from here. You may go rest." The soldier bowed and left. Seth then picked the girl up and carried her up to Storm's chamber on the top floor. A servent knocked and announced him as he entered. "Lod Valentine. Naxus sends you a gift, a child of the Makantes."

Storm smiled as he saw Seth enter the room. "A gift from Naxus...How quaint...Bring it here." Seth said it was the child o Makantes. "Ahhh...The descendant of the creator of magic...Naxus, I owe you one for this..."

Storm smiled as he motioned Seth to lay the young girl down in front of him. He ran his fingers gently over her young, frail body. She was very, very young. And indeed, she was sumptuous. Storm sniffed her neck, he could feel the heat of her blood stimulating his senses. He ran his fingers over her veins, feeling the constant stream of blood flowing at a steady beat. Thump.....thump.....thump.

Storm licked his lips. Such a tasty treat should be served only to those in the highest respect. He chuckled to himself. Good thing I am royalty... "What a beautiful young girl..." he said, running his hand down her neck. "Full...luscious...voluptuous..." he said, running his hand over her breasts. He made his way over her heart, and felt the heavy beat at its source.

Storm closed his eyes and tuned in to the beat of her chest, resting his head upon her breasts, the beat thumping in his ear. He moved up and slowly let his forked tongue slither over her neck, folowing the source of the beat to the superior vein. He opened his mouth slowly and his fangs bared themselves, ready to dive.

Yet, he hesitated for a moment. He ruining something so pure, he thought for a moment, questionning himself. But he quickly dismissed the thought, and gave into his desire. His fangs sank deeply into her soft, young flesh. He suckled at her vein as pure, young blood filled his mouth and dribbled down his throat. He could not stop himself, it was so delicious, its flavor was...magical.

As he sucked at her skin, he felt the power emanating from her begin to drop, and his own beginning to rise. His eyes glowed a deep red as he continued draining her. He could feel her heartbeat slowing down, his hand still placed over her breast. He slowed down, and finally stopped. He did not want to kill her...he just wanted her blood.

He stood up slowly, slurping the last remnants of blood from his lips. "Seth, thank you. This is indeed a great gift. I will speak with you later, for now, go to your quarters and wait for Sekhmets return. I have a feeling he will be here soon." He stood over her body for a moment, then he picked her up, carrying her over o his bed. He layed her down on her back.

"She looks so beautiful..." Valentine said as he closed the door to his room. He walked back over to the bed, glancing over her entire body. "There are other ways to create..." Storm said, contemplating his next move. He thought it over in his head, and decided to go for it.

He climbed into the bed, and the lights dimmed.

Ooc: Sorry for not pointing it out, I already talked this over with Gigs.

Zanaku then held his hands out and shot a dark beam threw the tendril and it was heading for Chilliam. "Its not an attack. Its a very ancient technique using dark powers and the ancient fighting styles of my people, the Simidians". He had a dark force emmitting around his body like a glove now. "Come,i will show you the ancient art at it's fullest".

~mean while~

Nurgle said" with ultimate pleasure. I will finally get to face my brother once again. He was 1 of the elites at the academy. They outcasted me for the way I looked, the way i fought, and for my dark gift. Fools. I will eliminate them all now with prejedice to the extreme. No 1 will walk out of that shithole alive after im threw, not even the children". Nurgle had a look of extreme anger on his face. "Luckily I was found by the colt of the dark gods. They showed me the way of pain". After saying that he chuckled. "Shadowmere,COME". A black portal appeared in the middle of the room and the demonic horse ran out of it. The horse growled and felt pleased to be back with its evil master back on the adventure. "Is there any more gifts i should be expecting lord and does this beast have anymore dark abilities"?

Ooc: My bad, CG.
( this is supposed to take place prior to my previous post.)

Ic:

Storm smiled. "Yes, Nurgle, the beast can morph as you do. A very usefull tactic indeed. Whatever gifts you discover are yours to keep. I will not spoil your joy of finding the truth."

Drake picked up Richand who had collapsed on the ground. He then moved back towards the village. After Naxus was defeated the Detrey soliders lost Moral and they retreated. They were then picked of be the remaining Dorsin soldiers. When Drake had returned to the village he placed him down in the middle of his tent. Tk then hurried in to the tent.
"Drake its Bill, he says there something you have to see. You go I will look after this guy" Drake nodded and walked out and headed to the inn.

"Talk to me" Drake walked into the room and surveyed the scene. Bill was sitting by the bed crouched over the girl.
"Well the blood had some effects, for one she has grown wings."
"Wait what?"
"Yer that was what I said when I turned her over."
"Any way, what about the other stuff" Said Drake pointing and the girl.
"Well she is what you suspected but diffrent now. For one she don't need blood to live, but that don't mean she won't crave it. And she seems to be sunlight resistant."
"So basically what your telling me is that she is half vampire, half something else."
"Basically"
"Oh that's just great."

Richand opened his eyes, but he wasn't on the battlefield. He was on a large grassy plain, with nothing but blades of grass extending as far as the eye could see. He tried to get up, but his feet felt like they weighed a hundred tons.
"Need some help?"
A man was standing next to Richand. He found it odd that he hadn't noticed him before. His vision was blurry and couldn't make out what they looked like, but their voice was familiar somehow. He reached out his hand and helped Richand to his feet. As his world came into focus, Richand recgonized him.
"D...Dad??"
Lloyd Zamikios smiled.
"Hello, Richand. You've grown much stronger. Now, we have a lot to talk about and not much time to do it in, do you understand?"
"...Yeah..."
For some reason, Richand didn't feel the need to ask why Lloyd was here, or what exactly was going on. In fact, he felt utterly peaceful.
"I've been watching you and Nicklas. You are both great heroes."
"Dad... Nicklas is..."
"I know. I've seen him since. He's proud of you too, son, but only I am able to communicate to you. Now, listen: The first thing you need to do is save Siana. I know that's what you would do first anyway, but I cannot stress the urgency of it. Then, you must go after the Drosin orb, the one which enhances natural magic. It's necessity will become apparent soon enough. You will find it in the dark catacombs deep beneath the city of Negliv. It is guarded by an ancient creature, one who has dissappeared from the memory of man. Only together will you be able to procure this orb. From there, I trust you to do what is right."
Everything began to get brighter. Richand squinted his eyes at the glaring light.
"Wait! Dad!"
"I believe in you Richand. You will be the greatest hero of all."
The light intensified until all Richand could see was white. Slowly, he opened his eyes once more. He ached all over and was in a tent, being watched over by a soldier he didn't recognize.
"Ugh..."

IC
"Hey there shiny light guy." Waved Tk who was happily lying down on the ground watching the clouds go bye though the rip in the tent he made earlier.
"Drake's gone of to take care of somthing but he will be back. Oh and my names Tk by the way." Tk then pointed at the sky.
"What does that cloud look like to you."

IC
"I was thinking a guy riding a horse back wards, while holding a bow made of solid platinum." Tk looked at Richand and smiled.
"That would be awsome,"

IC
Tk pushed himself up right and went over to Richand.
"Come with me and I will take you to the inn where are healer is looking after someone, he will help you out." Tk held out his hand.
