Spaceballs - Thought it was going to be much funnier than it actually was but id give it 6/10

Space balls is kinda like a how to of how parady films should be made

Day of the Dead remake - 4/10

Nowhere near as good as the original. Everything that made that film unique and interesting is gone, and instead the remake is just a generic zombie film. While watching it I could help but think it was like one of those crappy made-for-TV films you see on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Oh, hahaha, I figured - I didn't mean to sound like I was grilling you, I just wanted to confirm it was the new movie.

Yeah, I had read they removed the entire dynamic of the underground folks, the realization of some hint of remaining intelligence, etc.

That's a shame - the Dawn remake is outstanding and probably my favorite horror remake to date (it did a great job of keeping most of the underlying themes in place while still updating it).

Aye, the remakes of Dawn and Night of the Living Dead were actually pretty well done. But this new one... you're correct, the whole scientists vs. military thing is gone, and for the most part the issue of zombie intelligence is generally ignored. It's like it's not really a remake at all, it's more like a brand new film with the title of George Romero's classic (and a few of the character's names) tacked on.

I have yet to see Romero's newest one (Diary of the Dead) though. The reviews are saying it's fairly good, so I'll try and catch it soon.

I thought Dawn of the Dead as a remake was shockingly bad, but as a film on the whole was ok. What i dont like is when they say a films a remake like Dawn of the Dead but then change everything about it from the original.

Personally I thought it was a pretty good film. Not quite as good as the original, but still great. And to be fair, it was a LOT closer to its original than this Day remake.

_10,000 BC

_I taught it was a good movie, sorta of seemed like a remake of 300 and that movie of the Indians , Apcoto -somthing.

_You guys should go and see it.
It has mammoths building the pyramids.

The only less historically accurate you can get than that is having Larry the Cable Guy building them.

Day of the Dead - What like Napalm said they missed the whole point of the film ie the military v scientist thing. It seemed to me they never even botherd watching the original really bad i give it a 4/10

Superbad. 8.5/10.
Good movie, non stop crude humour/sexual comments. Reminds me of my friends joking around non stop about the stuff. The cops were hillarious, makes me want to be a cop for a weekend.
