True, but it's a lot more efficient (mass transfer and you only need one 3DS), and you also get a lot more storage.

It means nothing in life is free, and we all should be happy it lasted as long as it did. But seriously, it's 5 bucks per year. Pick up change around a wal matt parking lot for about 20 min and you'll have your money for the pokemon bank.

Seems legit. /no sarcasm IIRC a source on Serebii described Froakie's final evolution, and memory tells me that this supposed form matches the description well.

You're not payin' to transfer Pokes, you're payin' for everythin' else. The ability to trade across systems usin' only one 3DS, the ability to store your Pokemon and trade them to new games, regardless of any possible compatability issues that may crop up between between the 3DS and 6DSiXYZ or between 6th Gen and 10th Gen games.

Pokemon Bank is a permanent thing. It's gonna be used forever, 'til the series dies, even if it's name is changed or becomes a different iteration(s). Pokemon Bank is a cloud for Pokemon storage, and opens up so many retardedly pawsome possibilities for Pokemon that anyone who complains 'bout the measly $5 price should be labeled as a short-sighted Jew.

IMO the SOLE Justified complaint is that the Poke Transporter isn't a standalone free thing, which I agree with. But there's a free trial for use of Pokemon Bank and thus the Poke Transporter, so the complaints don't really hold that much merit.

Ah, yes. The "buy one get one free" shtick one sees in infomercials and the like. It ain't free, despite what others may lead you to believe.
