Pokemon X/Y

There's also the problem with immunities. Suddenly, certain Ground-types can hit Flyin' types with a STAB super-effective Ground/Rock attack.

Noooooooooooooöo. I may have to quit if they do this :(.

*Facepalm*

Don't be one of those people, the people that quit over really minor things. Sure, I agree that dual typed moves sound dumb too, but would I ever quit the series over it? Hell no.

If they make ground/ice. Their'll be no point in the game. Also, I find this to be quite a major reason.

Please explain why this is such a determining factor of whether or not you'll keep playing Pokemon. Even if it changes competitive Pokemon a lot (not sure, depends), I don't think the in game experience would change a colossal amount due to this one factor.

I will change because it'll destroy the game for ME.

I guess I will be getting X/Y

I guess I will look to getting B2/W2 also
Good, good. Don't let us down. I'll be convincing my genwunner friend to get XY as well, since he actually has a 3DS. I think he would dislike the new Pokemon less if he actually played the newer games.

Younger me basicly only played the Pokémon games.

Although I did have Mario, Smash 64, and LoZ but mostly it was Pokémon...
Until I found Fire Emblem and competitive Pokémon battling.

Then it became train the best and learn tactics and strategy. It eventually got so time consuming to play Pokémon competitively and the general plot of Pokémon was redundant, I started to fall away from Pokémon.

I hope X/Y will change that. I want a Pokémon game that will make me a hardcore fan again.

waitwut

Ya used t' play competitive 'mons? I thought you were entirely new to the competitive scene. What generation?

Well I learned about the whole gist of competitiveness (yeah know EV's and IV's) in gen 3 but got too bored with it,
Only recently I applied my Pokémon knowledge to battles (and simulators).

Basicly I only dabbled into Pokémon battling theory.
Theories and actually doing it are two different things.

Figured as much, most-everyone I know learned of srs 'mons come Hoenn... as did I.

'Course, I personally didn't have much time t' get bored with it since DP and it's Wi-fi goodness came 'round within three years of my discoverin' of all'a them hidden stats and such. <3battlefrtontier&serebii

I'd say I can hardly wait t' return to the competitive scene come XY, but I do still need to finish all that BW2 in-game guff lol.
