The Sinnoh dex is the 150ish Pokémon you can encounter in game.
You get the national dex by completing the Sinnoh dex, (just have to meet the pokes, not cat]h) and then go see Prof. Oak. The National dex has 493 Pokémon. The Sinnoh dex can be compketed easily as long as you fight all the trainers/Elite Four (most of the trainers actually) and when you pummel the Elite four, you get Dialga's data (or Palkia's data if you bought Diamond) from Cynthia's grandmother in the northern house in Celestic town.

nope, your gonna do like 3-5 more.(double battles) oh and you can catch a kadabra and chanseys there if you want.
