yeah all of the things in there are fine to come into Oz. stuff like meat/egg products/milk products/plant material immediatly gets confiscated by customs. the only things that might not make it into the country in that box is the red topped bottle and the black topped bottle. as they are coffee creamers i believe. but we'll see when it arrives.

this will be the 7th one from overseas. so i'm well aware of what can and cant go out ( and come in) to Oz

Who actually keeps a primary school uniform?!

Although, in primary school I only had the blue shirt, I didn't bother with the uniform skirt or pants. But they are all long gone. It was so much fun throwing the uniform away at the end of year 6. I still have a skirt from high school though and shirts. I should still fit into the shirts and the pants - considering jeans were apart of my uniform and the "blue note of out of uniform" they issued to me certainly wasn't going to get me to change it either.

Well, we have to keep ours if my aunty is going to keep on popping out kids. We just pass the uniform on to their kids. I wish my mum would stop doing that. I guess she has to now, because my cousins aren't Catholic enough to get into my primary school.

LOL.... I'll get a photo of me in my highschool shirt sometime, the one covered in all the scrawls and the holes where my nipples poke through. Its fantastic.

Dont think I have my primary uniform ANYwhere. And as previously stated, itd be like wearing udnerwear if i tried it on...

Hmm I am against uniform myself.
Rather, I don't want to wear it. But everyone else should be forced to wear it. I understand and can respect the reasoning behind it. But I've always been against the more catholic uniforms of girls wearing skirts and boys long pants or shorts and high socks. The more casual uniform my school adopted was much better... and yet, I am always more comfortable in jeans then any other kind of clothing.

I remember once we recieved a newsletter that stated ties were apart of our uniform. There was seriously mass panic across the school. God knows why they were worried or even upset. We were freaking t-shirts as uniform, how could we wear ties with them? Sure, I guess we could wear them... but it would look kind of stupid. As it turned out, the ties were only our formal dresscode for school captains when they were off representing the school.

....What sort of Aussie school lets you wear T-shirts and jeans?

They really MUST be smoking some heavy **** up there in Byron......although thats a given isnt it. :p

Welll, not everyone was allowed to be out of uniform. They used to set up a "uniform watch" at the school gate. I had this awesome way of never being around when uniform was checked.

It was called being late to school everyday.

Although I think their problem was their punishment was a blue note. Nothing more. No detention. No nothing. I was apparently so if a teacher stopped you in the playground you could show it to them. They never did. You could wear a freaking pink tutu in the playground and the teachers wouldn't ask you for the blue note. It was a pointless activity that only the deputy principal and one science teacher cared about. So once you got around those two, you could wear whatever you wanted and no one cared.

LOL. Fair enough. We'd just get detentions. And teachers were pretty freaking picky.

"Youre shirts untucked.....detention"

Then if you got busted heaps, you'd get after-school detentions.

We made a game out of it in Yr10, me and another dude got....30 arvos in a year.

I just hated our uniform, it was that damn uncomfortable.

Oh and this one time, I lost my sports shirt, and my spare one was freaking tiny as. So I wasnt allowed to do sport in my uniform, and usually got detentions....
