After waiting from Tuesday, 10pm to Wednesday, 8am I finally got my wii. I was the 16th person in line, with the first people arriving a whole day earlier. Wal-mart had 31 Wiis in stock yet 50 some showed up in line so the people that waited in line past the 31st person was quite mad. I was surprised that there were more old people than young people waiting in line, ready to buy their kids a Nintendo Wii. All in all it was a great experience because I met quite a few good people.

As far as Wii gaming goes, it's not the best gaming system ever but it's definitely fun and different. My dad, a 69-year-old man decided he would give Wii bowling a shot, a guy who had never played a system in his life, and beat me by 100 points lol. I find it quite amazing how easily it is for people who have never played a console ever to just pick up and play and rule on it. The only game I purchased for it was Zelda, and though it is a great game, I am finding the controls still slightly hard to use. By the way all, some people were asking if you could get online with dialup and you indeed can. All you have to do is hook up a usb port into an ethernet adapter on your computer, turn on your internet and bam, instant connection and though it would seem the connection would be bad, it's not.
hi um i noticed you said you can use dial up to connect to internet on yout wii and i didnt qwite understand it um can you please email it my email adress is [email protected] or reply this message

Just got my ass a Wii!! Traded in my old Ps2 for it, well worth it aswell i might add. Anyways, i hooked up online there and am not too familiar about hooking up with friends/codes and stuff so if someone could add me and show me the ropes it will be appreciated!!

I got a Wii on April Fool's Day (April 1st) of this year. I had to get up at 5:00 in the morning and wait outside of Toys R Us for five hours until the store opened, but it was SO worth it. Wii is awesome! I have Wii Sports (obviously), Wii Play, and Donkey Kong Country (VC). I can't wait to get Super Paper Mario, Twilight Princess, and Warioware. Go Wii! :D

Oh by the way, I'm new to these forums. Hello everyone!

me and my g/f just got ours yesterday. EB/Gamestop was advertising their bundles for close to $500 on their site for a Wii, so on Monday when the release date they had on the site, my g/f went by gamestop in Muncie, Indiana and they had 4 in, the EB in Anderson where we live, where we went later to buy another wii mote had 7.

We rented Super Monkey whatever and Paper Mario, but I'm obsessed with Wii Sports, especially Tennis and Golf. Already Pro on Tennis, woot! I wish they'd make it so you can go online with it and play with all you other Wii maniacs!

I got mine launch day. With out a pre-order. With out camping.

Nebraska Furniture Mart is the true god of gaming.

I showed up with my fiance at 7am, 2 hours before the store opened.

They had 72 units.
I got unit 31.
And Zelda, Exite Truck, an Extra Wiimote and Nunchuk.

Wii got one yesterday and i stayed up till one a.m. golfing. My brother went to Zellers thinking hey maybe will have some and then..........He saw it............It was like seeing the Grand Canyon at sunset. There was two left but he had only enough to buy the Wii but then his girlfriend said "you've wanted it for so long buy it"(if that what every girl said to me the world would be a better place)

I actually took a trip to Canada a month ago, and stopped in Zellers. I heard some kids talking about only one Wii left, and they were going to call their rents to bring money, and I bought it first lol. I guess you could call that cruel. Anyways...you guys who waited for so long in lines are hardcore.
