Best Wife Ever

So my wife was on a trip to Georgia to see her sister. She was used to my routine of checking Targets, Walmarts, and Best Buys everytime we went in to see if any Wiis in stock. So while in GA she checks at the Target down there and they've got one left. So she purchased it and brought it back to me and surprised me.

Since then I've been playing so much that my hand and arm are cramping a little. Even

Didn't see this thread. Got my Wii a couple weeks back. Have 5 Wiimotes, 4 nun's, a classic, and a few games.

I tapped my way home after i got hold of one. I have NEVER ever driven so fast from work to get hold of one, that too late in the morning

I just stopped a meeting saying that i have an emergency i need to attend to.

I'm assuming that you used itrackr to locate your wii? Great story. A wii alert...heck yeah that's an emergency!

Better lucky than good

I have been trying to get one for quite a long time now. I used itrackr and a bunch of other online methods. Lo and behold my wife just called to say she just walked into TRU in Clinton MD and they had three! Now I just cant wait to get home from work. Is that the flu I feel coming on?

Got my wii on the 23rd, ordered it from amazon on the 22nd and chose express delivery and got up at 6am because I was so excited it then arrived at 10:31

Finally!!

I finally got my Wii today, my brother lives in Winchester VA and randomly went to Toys R US and called me and said he just bought it for me. I know he said they still had some left this was around noon. I hope this helps someone.

Got mine last week at Walmart - called them up (had been calling daily around 1pm - about 4 local stores) and they said they just received 2 in. Drove straight to the store (about 2 minutes from where I work) and they were just putting them on the shelves.

I had already picked up Zelda, Elebits and Rayman.

So far I am loving Zelda, Sports and Elebits (having played much Rayman yet).

I got my wii last Friday!!!!!

I'd almost given up hope on getting one until at least next month. For 2 weeks I asked everyday at Gamestop, Toys R US, Bestbuy, Comp USA etc.
Worked late on Friday and was chatting to a friend from England who's pre-ordered wii had just arrived etc.I told him jokingly I was jealous and he wished me luck getting one.
8pm - I decided to take a detour on the way home and try my luck one more time at Toys R US. I was blown away when a shop assitant told me they had one left!!
