What if after SOTW #26, we start deciding the theme by using Polls?

I feel that due to this not being a graphics forum, and the SOTW starting to fail as topics are introduced, it would be better just to have Freestyle each week.

i think freestyle will help the sigs be reusable... and can really add unique content

I actually like the freestyle idea as well. We had a great turnout this time around and voting is even up.

We could do Freestyle every other week and a topic chosen by polling the other weeks. Maybe the top five finishers from the previous polling topic week get to submit ideas and then during the freestyle week everyone would be able to vote for the upcoming the polling week topic.

Hope that makes sense. It doesn't seem too complicated in my head.

I think it'd look better with some smudging effects on the background rather than being just plain. Bit too simple for my tastes at the moment, but I see what you were trying to do and it looks good for being simple, but will look better if you add some smudge to the background to bring it out a bit more.

Yeah, it's not all that exciting. But it'll mean more people will take part. Can always think up your own concepts/themes anyway.
