ok, im extremely new to mking signatures, and ive come to realize that GiMP's default fonts are horrible. so i would like to know how to save different fonts to gimp. ive already went to file>preferences>folders>fonts>(my font) but the font is "grey" or "dimmed" and i am not able to use it. Please note: i am using XP so i do not need a unzip program, correct?

anyways, i would apreciate the help... sorry fo the noob question.

I agree to a point. I think the whole thing is too sharpened. I like the look it gives (everything sharpened), but leave the render more sharpened then the background.

I have to agree with you on this one, especially about the silver lines. But I really like the work carried out on either side of that piece.

You may buy it or pirate it for free. You can buy it nearly anywhere (but, if your a college student, try buying it at your cambus book store; you get a student discount). You can pirate it with any type of torrenting program (BitTorent, Azureus, Limewire, etc.).

I don't know if you remember this piece, but I entered it in a contest, in Wiichat. Well, I didn't actually entered this one, because this one is a remake.
Aww yeah, I had to add shadows, lighting, fix the coloring, and many other stuff. Took me some hours.
